To All WSO'ers and Gurus: Is Telling me "Keep Doing What you are Doing..."a Sales Tactic? T

I have spoken to several warriors that have WSO's and coaching programs. I explain what I am doing as a new affiliate marketer in threads and PM's, and instead of telling me I need to buy this program or this coaching -they all tell me "Keep doing what you are doing and you will be fine", or " You dont need my WSO, you seem to be doing things right."

IS THIS SOME SORT OF SALES TACTIC TO MAKE ME WANT YOUR COACHING OR WSO EVEN MORE? Or - Are ya'll being honest...I cant tell.

Since I am new, I just put a plan together. I:

  • created 4 niche sites
  • did keyword research
  • found some low comp moderate search keywords
  • SEO'd all writing to those keywords in each post ad each EZA article
  • created sales pages/blogs
  • made about 20 blog posts total (1.5 weeks)
  • created 2 squidoo pages
  • bookmarked all posts and squidoo pages
  • submitted 23 articles to EZA
  • 8 approved
  • 1 sale...my 1st sale
  • currently write 10 articles per day
I have done all this in the past 1 1/2 weeks. Apparently, I am on the right track...I just dont know why no one is trying to sell me anything?

Am I really on the right track?

I've looked over your list. While there are certainly plenty of things you
can do to add to this (forgetting about what the quality of all these things
are) this list should bring you significant results if you just keep doing what
    you're doing.

In other words, there is no need for you to buy anymore "how to" books
with what you're currently doing...at least not yet.

Now, if you someday want to get into more advanced methods, that's a
different story. But right now, based on what you've told us, I see no reason
    for you to get anything.

  • I am relying on SEO and brutal article marketing.

Steve... Can I reach $1500 a month recuring income with this plan?
How much can I make before needing advanced methods?

    Thanks

There is no way I can possibly estimate how much you can or will make
with your plan because there are way too many variables involved such
as the product you're selling, how much traffic you're getting, how big
      your list gets, etc.

One would have to do an in depth analysis of your business model to give
      you an "educated" guess.

Having said that, can you make $1,500 a month doing what you're doing?

Sure you can. People make much more than that doing what you're doing,
but there is just no way to say, "yes, you will make that much."

There are no guarantees in this business and anybody who makes them
is not being honest with you.

Can we put these words automatically in the signature of every new warrior member for the first 90 days?

You can definately make good money with your plan, but the question is: Are you in a profitable niche that you can dominate or at least compete with others who are already in your niche.

I've tried several niches and not all of them are profitable... so it's not always about "keep doing what you are doing" but also about "analyzing if it is profitable to keep on doing what you are doing". The problem here is to determine the point when it's time to make that decision.

Yes, you can make money in all niches, but in some you can make 10-times or even 100-times the money than in others.

Yes, I am currently testing four separate niches. I will revamp, and get rid of the ones that do not work. Then, test other niches.

That's great... just make sure you are building an email list in each niche... most profits come from the back-end and repeated customers.

If they wanted to sell you coaching, wouldn't it make more sense to tell you that what you're doing is all wrong and won't get you anywhere?

It's not really a sales tactic...at least not in the way you think.

Generally speaking the more honest marketers will encourage you when you're on the right track.

And we all know that more knowledge is not the answer for most people...more action is.

We also know that if you stick to a good plan long enough you'll almost certainly make some good money and then you'll be ready and cashed up for more serious coaching.

When you're starting out making your first money is not that complicated...you just have to work your arse off.

Once you've got an income and an online business going coaching becomes far more valuable because you have so many more alternatives and options you can explore that are likely to substantially increase your income very quickly.

Let me put it this way:

What most of the people talking to you are telling you is "No you can't buy a solution...You have enough information...you just have to put in the hard yards."

      Kindest regards,
      Andrew Cavanagh
