Hi,

I bought a domain name 17 days ago, I want to create a WordPress blog; but before adding any content, I want google to index my site first before adding.

The fastest way I've found is to create a sitemap and submit it to the search engines.

    Sitemap Generator
    xmlsitemap.com

Submit Sitemap (Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc)
    ongsono.com/submit_sitemap.htm

Nothing to see here folks.....move along.

Add the Google XML Sitemap plugin to your blog and each time you post something it will notify google. You can also add to the default pinglist.

If you had added the sitemap plugin two weeks ago and added just one post your site would probably be indexed by now. Git to it!

Add the content. Google isn't much interested in indexing Hello World. They index content. The more you add and the more frequently you post, the faster they index your site. Post content and then ping it at pingler and then social bookmark it.

Put your sites url in your signature, depending on how many posts you have it will get indexed super fast! The higher your post count the faster your site will get indexed.

In all seriousness, you do not want to force Google to index your website. Instead make it so inviting that they can't resist.

      Adding content through pages.
      Adding blog posts.
      Submitting your RSS feed.
Going to site valuation site and adding your domain.
Put your site in your sig file.

Those are all invitations. Extend a lot of them on a regular basis and your content shoud get indexed super quick.

This is what I do, that seems to work rather quickly...

    - load WP on it
    - temporarily deactivate the auto pinging feature of WP until you have everything else setup
    - install xml sitemap
    - install all-in-one-SEO-pack
    - change the default WP url structure for better SEO
    - reactivate the pinging feature and also add some additional pinging sites to
    the list
    - create a few pages
    - create a few posts
    - put a YT video or two on it, link back out from YT to the site from your video description/comments area
    - link out to some big high PR related sites
    - make a few backlinks from high PR locations
    - make sure you are signed up to the G@#gle web##m#as*ter c-e##ntr@al and that your site is registered- you can initially register the site with G#@gle a# n*aly+tic-s and remove it later on, if the thought of big G. having too much data about your site creeps you out.
    - it's also recommended that you wait a week or so, if you were going to place adsense or AFF links on it, but I haven't really tested that. I usually start building it out from day 1, regardless of if I have adsense or affiliate links and get indexed pretty quickly.
    - also when creating your posts, make sure the tags that you use have good KWords
    - make sure in the SEO plugin, your titles have good Kwords in them too etc.

Follow this map and you should see some good results. I know I do!
