Facebook, Zynga & Groupon IPOs to come soon

Facebook is doing a 100Bil Ipo, Groupon is doing 750M Zynga is expected to do 1B Ipo...

The question is though, how will this affect the face of the internet as we know it?

Will yet more people simply move everything to facebook and ignore the vast majority of the internet or will it eventually lead the gargantuan to break apart at the seams?

(I didn't know the more appropriate sub-forum to put this)

I doubt it will spark off a second .com bubble though, FB is slowly killing itself from the inside out if you actually watch it...these days you cannot do a thing on the internet without having to tell your friends what you are doing and that is only going to get worse.

Take blog commenting for us for instance, has anyone seen and noticed the rise of "comment with facebook" options that are slowly phasing out traditional comment options?

In time people will likely just pull the plug so they can finally get a bit of peace and privacy from their porn surfing.

The biggest problem is that FB got so big so fast without actually having anything solid to promote, they do not give a unique service and they do not fill any specific niche. All they really do is suck up vast amounts of traffic and churn it through their pages for advertising dollars and to be brutally honest, any of us can do that.

Facebook gained critical mass one day, it got very very big and now people are getting pissed off with the privacy intrusions so it will start contracting and once your friends leave why would you stay?
