Registering Bulk Domains

Okay, it has been awhile since a registered new domains on a regular basis, but I just registered a few I can feel an urge coming on to register a lot more domains.

I tried to research via google and the forum search for bulk domain registration, but didn't really come to a definitive conclusion on what are my best options in the present.

I have all my domains with 1and1.com currently and they are fine, I guess. However, I would like to know if there is a better option for bulk domain registration not only to keep costs down, but offer adequate bulk management tools after registration.

One thing I really like about 1and1 is they offer "private registration" as part of the price, so I would like to find another registrar that offer the same as part of their basic price, but I guess it is not required.

Anyone have any advice on the best all around Bulk Registrar? Price? Etc?

Thanks very much,
Michael

What I have done is this: Christian Domains
I set up a wild west (aka godaddy) reseller account and buy my own domain names via my own service, not only do I get to set my own prices, I get commissions from my own purchases.
I also have over 300 clients and receive commissions from their sales, upgrades, etc.
I Currently have over 375 domain names and have no plans on stopping. I found having my own services are the best way to go, I also have a dedicated server so I handle all my own hosting as well as offer free hosting to clients, a nice bonus for those who need it.
I can bulk manage domain names, IP addresses, forwards, maskings, etc.
Just a thought, for me, it is very much worth the time
the basic reseller is 99 a year, then there are higher levels according to need, I use pro reseller. you can visit my site to see what features there are, which you also have control of from an admin panel.

in the past I have used dnbuy.com and was very happy with their service, I don't know the rates over there yet..they are resellers for another company, I was unable to find out for who
But if you are considering your own reseller account, search around before you settle for one.
    hope that helps!

      Linda,

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

The bulk management tools sound good.

How much is the base cost for each .com domain? 7.29? (Not including the yearly fee and taking into account any commission if possible)

What do .info domains cost you? They seem to be much much higher with the resellers than with go daddy.

      Thanks,
      Michael

resellerclub includes private protection in its price. Its bulk management tools are the best I have seen.

  • Just last evening I had used my account at GoDaddy.com to bulk register 6 new domains.

I received approximately $2 off for each domain registration and they included the private registration free for each of the six domains.

All in all I received a savings of approximately $72. Check out their main page as it was still available at the time I had posted this message.

Do not forget to do a search on Google for a coupon to gain additional savings as well

    Cheers
