Newbies, If You're Going To Use AWeber.... Do This!

If you're ready to start building your list in AWeber, be sure to check the box that instructs AWeber to email you an alert each time someone signs up to your list. Talk about a MOTIVATOR!! It's a great feeling seeing those emails in the inbox. It's a concrete validation that you're on a successful path. Now, ultimately it comes down to the sale, but it's quite a thrill, no less!

    Yes it is nothing feels better than looking at your email at the start of the day and seeing you have had a subscription since the last time you have checked it. Very good feeling.

    This is true the feeling is unexplainable when you see your list growing one person at a time. I created a folder for them within my email so that I can keep track of them outside of aweber.

      I agree with making a separate folder or else your email can get spammed with sign-ups when you start getting 20+ per day.

    I set up my Aweber yesterday and so far I am loving it! I even made a sign up box for my blog with it within 5-10 minutes. Very nice interface and simples to use. Now I await the emails to come in - It will be a great feeling

    Ah, the little things we do that make such a huge difference in our attitude. Seeing those emails for new subscribers really does motivate because its like having validation that your stuff IS useful to your audience.

      It is excellent advice for newbies and great for motivation at the beginning and I think it's great for you all to see this working for you, however....

      ....I can assure you, you do not want to do this when you get going, unless you fancy clearing page after page of notices telling you have more subscribers.

      Nevertheless, good for you and I hope this helps you. Rather a nice attitude in this thread of hardworking people offering each other encouragement - Keep it up.

    Thanks for the advice. I never noticed it when I set up my first list. My great motivator is turning notifications on my iphone for the PayPal app, so every time I get a sale, I get a ding ding. Feels great!
