Just make sure you know what you're doing with adwords. I used it years ago to promote what imo was a great product. I got lots of clicks but no conversion. And yes I did use the authors, splash page not mine.

I ended up paying $50 first month and $80 the second, then killed the campaign. So make sure of the market conversion and then give it a go. it doesn't make sense paying $2 for a click and the product costs $7 and expected conversion is like 2%. Check your maths first.

But if you have some money to burn, try it out and learn from it, maybe when you get the hang of it you can make your own system and sell on adwords.
      thanks for advice

i have used it before and prett much got same results as urself, i have done a few things differently this time so i will give it some time to see how it goes, and im definetely keeping an eye on the spending

a very good guide is "double digit ctr" by James Schramko, this is the best PPC guide i read in a long time.

I am "trying" CB and AdWords for a long time already, still learning new things and i though i am an AdWords crack.

HOWEVER....there is still so much unclear in regards to clickbank and selling as an affiliate, i mean general clickbank problems with sales not tracking and things like that i hear all the time.

I just revamped my whole AW account today, increased spending a LOT, but still dont see the ROI i want.

Its like AW has a curse on me, no matter how i turn it and flip it..

Example: I do keyword research in "Forex" (which admittedly is a VERY expensive market). So..Google shows me some long tail KW results telling me that the expected click would be LOW, like $0.10. (Most other Forex keywords are in the $4 range...)

So i chose those KWs and make some campaigns, just to see that also for those i would need to spend $4 PER CLICK.

As a first rule, bid only on EXACT matches, like [some keyword]..do very good keyword research, dont use KW with only ONE word.

I had some health products and just using the condition name (even if its a VERY small niche!) burns up my clicks faster than you can think..so you need to use [condition remedy] etc..etc.. to get HALFWAY targeted clicks.

Still...i am more and more focusing on article marketing, i spend almost $600 thsi month only on articles, and i THINK that that money is better spent than throwing it down G's throat.

The one recent WSO (1 cent clicks) doesn't WORK AT ALL, 2000+ impressions on content network and ZERO clicks. (The banner method w/ keywords).

As w/ James Schramkos PPC method, he sure knows his stuff, but i have SOME doubts and the math doesnt up.

First...he says to use a DAILY budget of $100 (!)...and he sets his clicks at $1 CPC and says he shoots for 100 clicks ---> 1 conversion.

Now what clickbank product do you sell w/ 100 clicks (which can add up to $100) to ONE conversion.... ? If you make $40/sale you still lost $60

If you are a member of the War Room, there is a good PPC course in the Private Discussions Forum. It's about the 10 post down from the top. It's called PPCBoardroom.
