Using Forums For Traffic

For those that use forum postings to receive traffic, how many posts do you make per day.

I am one that likes to try to create at least 50 new posts per day, but sometimes that gets time consuming.

Time consuming indeed... you don't need to do it daily unless you got plenty of time. It's best to vary your traffic sources and thus divide your time spent on different types of promotion, like today you do forums, the next you do blogs, and so on.

I struggle to even post 10 post per day unless I really got a question that I need answers immediately..

You can get both traffic and backlinks to your site!

    You need a plan:
    Make a post to ezines
    Forum
    Blog
Social networking sites such as twitter and hubpages
Then have your own pay per click advertising with google adword and adbrite
then have a free sources from usfreeads etc

Has anybody got experience with paying people to post?

I seem to remember reading about a few members who were paying people to post for them and getting some good results.

I can't find the thread though. It was probably a few months ago.

I'd say that it is much better to write your own posts vs. pay someone but i've also found that its nice to guest blog about a subject that you are not familiar with from time to time.. if your blog is about how to make money online and theirs is about ancient samurai swords then it might be fun to trade places once in a while right? In regard to traffic, i like try to do these activities as much as possible :

    1.) Comment on KeywordLuv blogs
    2.) Comment on forums
3.) Submit to Article Directories like EzineArticles and Goarticles
4.) Submit my sites to free directories...
5.) BlogCarnivals (these can be great if you get accepted)
6.) Hit up people on Entrecard and try to make friends...

I have a million other things I try to do as well but these activites are good for starters!
