I need your advice and little suggestions

I have a new site i built and I need further advice on how to rank it

Here is the link of the site: Plans for Woodwork for the main site
and http://plansforwoodworkinfo.com/articles for the articles I bought
(not advertising it in any way)

I am targeting this keyword: plans for woodwork

I already have 10 articles, which I am re-writing them again for
submission in Ezine articles, goarticles, hubpages, squidoo and american chronicle and leave an anchor text that will link back to my site

After all this, I have no more ideas on how make it rank on the first page of google.

pls help out

Thanks in advance

I think you are going in the good track, remember thar SEO is not something that works overnight. Your game plan is really good. You could maby go to Fiverr and release some preasure outsourcing some tasks so ypu can focus on some other things. Remember, time is money.

      here are a few suggestions:

      1. You could search for some dofollow blogs related to your niche and make some useful comments.

      2. Make a short video and upload to Youtube and other video sharing sites.

      3. BookMark your articles or get some microworkers at MTurk to do this.

      4. Write a press release or outsource it and submit to a number of free sites.

      Good luck with it.

    - Find related blogs and places online where your potential customers can be found
    - do some more research and come up with additional Kwords
    - use video! embed related video on your site and create a related Ytube account
    - play with a little paid traffic
    - create related Fbook page
    - look for related affiliate products that would work well on your site
    - can u possibly write up your own little ebook or similar info product on wood working tips etc. ?
    - I bet you could find a million wood working products on amazon
    - why don't u add a picture or video to your current page - bet it would jack up conversions

    * of course some of my tips would require that you build out your site into a more traditional blog or product type of site

Just like any basic SEO plan, focus on link diversity. So you've already got the articles planned. Then

    1) go to CommentKahuna and find some blogs to post on with links back to your site. Your username on the blogs will be your keyword, then enter the URL you want to point to.

    2) Go to Big-boards.com and find a DIY forum to post on. Put your link in your signature

    3) Find some .edu and .gov domains to post links on. There are threads in WF about how to do that easily

    4) Have a friend post on Yahoo answers asking where to get woodworking plans and you go on with your account and answer them with a link in the designated area.

    5) create a link wheel from all those Web 2.0 sites you'll be posting to with one link pointing to your site, the other to the next web 2.0 site in the wheel.

    6) social bookmark your site. You can use a site like socialmonkee or onlywire (I would also bookmark the other sites like the web 2.0 sites that are pointing to your site)

This is a basic plan if you have no money. Otherwise, like somebody said, you can go on fiverr and pay people to do this for you. For forum and blog posting, they will only do automated blasts with software, but you still get the backlinks.

    Good luck!

Just wondering, have you already looked at your competition on the first page as far as backlinks, PR, on page SEO, etc.?

It'll be hard to know what you'll have to do to rank on the first page if you don't know what you're going up against.

Find a related site and offer to write a guest article for them (hmm, I wonder if you know anybody on the WF who might have a site in this area who might be looking for guest articles :-) )

I noticed on your site that the wod share is in each of your articles excerpts on your article page, but it is not hyperlinked to go anywhere to share.

Yes, on the first page of Google, the first site on the broad phrase search is a PR4 with 402 backlinks

while the last site is a PR0 with 30 backlinks.

But non of them has the exact match phrase.

For the exact match phrase i.e "plans for woodwork", my article which I
submitted in goarticles is the number 5 site on the first page.

So how do I proceed from here?

Well, to get well ranked on google you need off page SEO of course. But before that, these are the things that caught my eye,

If you are going to rank for the "home page", there is not much content on it, just an optin form. I would put more content on it with 3-3.5% of the main keyword => plans for woodwork.

Also, from the articles you wrote, create at least 1 backlink per article to your home page using your main keyword. This is called on page SEO.

Video would be a good addition on the home page like others said. If you do that host a copy on youtube as well and link back to your site from the description.

That's my 2cents, you also need to do other off page SEO stuffs as other warriors mentioned above. Good luck.

Please don't take this the wrong way.
(I know a "copywriter" did it and it's not your fault).

Unless you're really letting only another 17 people sign up through that page, you need to remove the top line that says "this is limited to the next 17 lucky individuals".

That typifies everything that's wrong with "fake scarcity" and it will cost you sales.

Even if it's true (but we both know it isn't, right?), it will actually cost you sales: I'm not the only skepchick in town, and customers will imagine that you're trying to deceive them. I don't know about you, but when I'm trying to sell things to people, the last thing I want them to think is that I'm deceiving them.

It can also get you prosecuted and get your site taken offline. And it's dishonest and unethical and immoral. And understandably and rightly it's exactly the sort of thing that brings our profession, collectively, into disrepute. :p

Apologies for going on about it, but it's a big mistake of the kind sometimes produced by people pretending to be copywriters.

    Seriously.

Google rank pages based on two factors:

    CONTENT
    BACKLINKS

So there are two things you should focus on to rank highly.

Firstly, keep producing new, high quality content for your website. Google love useful content, so make sure your website is full of it. Furthermore, make sure your website content is optimised for your keyword. So try and include your keyword in your website as much as possible (Where appropriate, so that it blends in with the content, and makes sense).

Secondly, focus on those backlinks. A backlink is when another webpage links to your website. Get as many of these as you can. Your articles are one great method to generate backlinks. Don't just submit these articles to article directories. Try and submit them to popular blogs or websites. They will be happy to use your article (provided its good quality) as they get fresh content for free. Having you article on a popular blog or website will also drive massive traffic back to your site.

Another great way to get backlinks is to link swap with other websites i.e they link to your website and you link back to their website. Then you benefit from one anothers traffic, whilst boosting your SEO ranking at the same time.

For more ideas, google "Increasing Backlinks"

    Hope that was helpful.
