Help the new guy out please

Hey Everyone,

I recently signed up to this forum and am amazed at all the information provided here. Whether good or bad, there is a lot of it flowing around. Anyway, I have been saving up for quite some time in order to make educational investments that would aid me in my IM journey. To be honest, I've been wasting tons of time lately reading through lengthy sales letters and trying discover whether they are the real deal or just pipe dreams, which most seem to be. I'm completely fed up with the cars, private jets, yachts, women, piles of cash, etc. that these scammers use to grab my interest. Please, help me wade through the confusion and make some prudent business decisions. I've been interested in the idea of creating an income through the internet for awhile now and would like some sound advice on what exactly would be of use in this business.

What do you think of-
the Wealthy Affiliate University?
Maverick Money Makers?
How about the "War Room"?

What products would you say are absolutely essential to the beginner internet marketer? Is there a consensus among the "warriors" that these resources are of critical importance?

I just need some help getting started. I realize that the only proven way to get satisfying results is by working your butt off. I have a lot of time on my hands and am willing to dedicate much of it to internet marketing.
(I've got about a $1,000 dollar budget)

Thanks a lot
#guy

So if you "haven't used it as yet" why are recommending it to a new Warrior? What's the point in that?

Mikkosant -out of everything that you've read on the forum you should know who you can trust, who has a decent rep around here. If what they are 'teaching' fits in with your skill level, your business model then pick up that plan and follow it step by step. Don't quit the plan until you have mastered it and it's making money for you!

To get you started I would highly recommend using this programme!

      http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...g-get-now.html

I have personally used it and it has got me earning a regular income. I have no affliation with Don or Jeremy, so I have nothing to gain in recommending this product.

      Good luck!

I would second this program. This is a great program and it uses all free methods. I think the cost is only 30 something dollars now. More than worth the money to get you started.

You need to get a plan and then work the plan.

    Be decisive.

Most of the how to offers at this forum come with a money back guarentee - backed by Paypal or some other payment processor.

Of course basic affiliate marketing is best for any newbie.

You shouldn't bother trying to sell how to make money stuff until you've learned how to make money in other niches.

Ok, Thanks everyone. I've purchased several wso that are helping me out alot right now.

Some of these wso's require pm's. The only problem is that I cannot PM until I have 30 posts. I am sorry.

To learn, you'll need to take it upon yourself to do the work. Getting 30 posts is not difficult to do. Stay on the forum a bit, learn and add valuable content when you can. You'll be surprised at what you may learn as you shoot to get 19 more posts. There's help everywhere on this forum. Yes, Jeremy's WSO is awesome, so I've heard, but there are many others.

You must know what you want to do in IM before you search for help. Find your passion first and the help you need should be only a few moments away.

You might want to check out Bum Marketing techniques by Travis Sago. I know you said you had money to invest, but you might want to start out learning the basics first and then invest your earnings from the bum techniques! Just a thought!

Read, learn, and contribute to the forum first.

There is no need to buy a WSO right away.

That policy is to deter PM spammers.

Save your $1,000 and read everything you can in this forum. Put up some free site at some social media sites and start thinking about what you want to promote/sale.

Everyone, or just about everyone, on this forum has already spent money on products. Use the wisdom that is in this forum and set up your business.

    Good Luck,

First you have to decide on if you want to create your own products or be an affiliate marketer.

Then you have to decide on which marketing strategy you are comfortable with and follow someone who has the expertise in that strategy.

For example if you want to promote your product using article marketing as your main way of generating traffic then follow someon who is good at article marketing; if you want to use ppc advertising then follow someon who is good at using ppc; if you want to use social media marketing follow someone who is good at that; if you want to use seo then follow someone who is good at that.

Eventually you will learn a little about how to use all of these strategies, but you should start of by focusing on one at a time and followup someone who has a track record in that particular way of marketing.

    Whatever you do, stay focused.

What do you want to achieve? Do you want to create a membership site to earn money, do you want to master PPC?, CPA, article marketing, web site flipping, blogging, hubpages, squidoo?, there are so many things to choose from. Learn all you can, then narrow your focus depending upon your strengths and interests, learn and apply what you learn.

Yes, I would agree with what the other people are saying. Read a bunch of posts here first. Then one of those that sounds interesting to you and then focus on it. Learn everything you can about that one particular item.

One common mistake a lot of people new to Internet marketing or any type of business for that matter that they make is that they tried to do everything at once, and instead get absolutely nothing done at all.

You can pretty much make money at almost anything online with very little money or none at all. I would say some basic expenses would be $10 a month for web hosting, $10 for advertising -- that is if you want to experiment with this, and then maybe $20-$30 for any type of membership site or product that you want that you will think will help you. I can tell you a few things you could do such that within a week you would literally make at least $50-$100. It would probably take you 5 to 6 hours, but you would make the money.

But, you need to pick what you want to do. Once you know that, it will be a lot easier to give you advice

Yes, Ed Dale's Thirty Day Challenge is
a great way to start, and keeps you
focused on doing something each day.

Reading forum posts is good, but it
helps when you're starting out to have
a very structured format so you don't
get lost in all the info that's out there.

Another good free program is Russell
    Brunson's 100 Million Challenge - it
goes for 90 days I believe and he has
set up a really good methodology to
    get you up and running.

Both Ed and Russell are really good
    teachers and make everything very
    clear.

It's just a matter of which one you
like the best, but if you follow them,
you'll have a good introduction to
    what it's all about.

Look up Russell Brunson's 100 Million Challenge
on Google to get the website.

    Good Luck!
