What's Your Best Geo Redirect Solution?

Hi,

I am looking for a solution for geo redirection recently. So far I've found following services.

Free:
1. cpaclickz.com
2. http://www.12scripts.com/scripts.php?scripts.id=2

Paid:
1. ekmcompass.com (4.99/mo)
2. AlstraSoft Geo Redirect Pro ($50 a year, AlstraSoft Geo Redirect Pro Traffic Analyzer and Geo Targeting Software - Redirect targeted traffic by IP address, country (geotargeting), language.)
3. ip2location.com
4. maxmind.com/app/geolitecity

Have you ever used one of these? Do you have better solution for geo redirection?

Do you need to be able to redirect on a city/region basis, or just country?

Currently just country.

Is it expensive to be able to redirect on a city/region basis?

Maxmind's free GeoLite City is quite accurate despite being free. It can also be used with a variety of APIs including PHP and an Apache Module that will let you configure redirects with .htaccess files.

Also, I'm not sure what your application is but you can also redirect at the DNS level with something like http://www.geoscaling.com/

  I'm using the 12script power redirector script, what i like is that you can switch been different 3rd party databases.
