How do I stop another site admin from using/stealing my original content?

I was just searching for my position for my main keyword. I'm always on the first page, but I flicker every so often. I check my competition obviously.

And today (June 16th) i found that another competitor has literally taken my siter word for word and copy and pasted my entire site!! I'm infuriated!!

What can I do to effectively stop him ASAP?

He has copied my images and all of my content.

though he is probably hurting himself more than me. He deserves to suffer.
I have created all of the content he is stealing and want to make him pay.

Send him a letter and demand he remove it. Copy his hosting provider on the letter. If he doesn't remove it then start reporting him to Google using this form and try to find out who his affiliate links are going to and report him there too. If he is using Adsense or Amazon then you can get him nuked pretty quickly.

They definitely aren't my affiliate links. He isn't using adsense or amazon. but that gives me an idea.
I'll give my affiliate manager a call. Thanks.

I can't find any form of a contact page on this guys site.... Except for his comment box area of course. I don't think he'll look there though.

I think you can sue them using some googles service and send them a letter..
I am not able to remember what exactly it was...

One of my clients used the articles my team did for him but he never paid... one of my writers did send them a letter using some Googles service and they were forced to remove all the articles..

Unfortunately , they still did not pay me !!!

    My general plan of attack:

    1. Send a cease and desist DMCA take down notice email to him.
    2. Send a cease and desist DMCA take down notice to his hosting provider and domain name registrar.
    3. Report him to amazon and/or google if using those affiliate programs. (Potentially others as well but I've never needed to.)
    4. Not stress over it and just move on. If it were impacting my business and they weren't doing anything about it then I'd talk to my lawyer about my options at that point.

I would report him to his host abuse department. If you do a whois lookup on his domain you should be able to determine his hosting company by the information displayed or even the dns servers that he is using.

Once you know what hosting provider he uses you could go to their website and look for contact info. Or just do a whois lookup on the hosting company to find their abuse email address.

    Good luck...

Aha! I see what you mean now by find their email by searching their whois info.

I got it and plan on using it unless my other "resource" (to say the least) doesn't pull through.

      Thanks for the help.

Yes, do all that was suggested. I would really make sure the host provider knew about the whole thing. Make sure you contact them. Sometimes it is quicker and easier by phone.
