They Know Their Website!!!
Ok so my target audience uses a host of various websites for online gaming information. And of course all of these sites/pages have ads to keep them in business.
What I offer is a novelty item that these gamers, the ones that visit these different sites, would buy if they only knew the page/site existed.
Trying to rank high in SE's or even PPC is not effective because most of these people have a bookmark to the site or it is a site they have used so many times they just type in the address.
So my question: is my only option is to start paying the crazy high ad prices to these websites? (unfortunately most of these sites have raised their rates to the stratosphere level that only big business are advertising on them).
Other thoughts on targeting these online gamers?
