can i do this with a one-time sale?

Hi everybody,

Got a question: I do a lot of two or three day sales. I always put a countdown clock, etc. However, it does get tricky trying to take down all the sales when the timer runs out (it can be late in the evening )

Does anybody know of a script that can automatically redirect a visitor to the non-sale version of the salesletter once the time runs out?

Thanks in advance

Mitch

Why don't you just have one end point for the sales letter version? This way all you have to do is change 1 page. You could tell them that the sale is over and have them click or redirect them to the regular price page. Don't worry about the tons of links, posts and what have you online. They will continue to send traffic to you from bargain hunters. If they are really interested in your product, they'll still buy.

Thanks for the response. I'm actually not worried about traffic or people not buying. The only thing I want to do is make sure the sale ends when we say it ends (credibility is important after all ).

As of now, it's pretty straight forward switching out the sale version for the original, but we're ideally looking for a script that will do that for us. Basically, when the time hits a certain point, it triggers the script to start redirecting traffic to the non-sale version.

I've seen it before, but can't remember what or where it is for the life of me.

      Thanks again

      Mitch
