Okay, I was just about to hit the hay and I get three emails through all at the same time. 1 from WSO Pro, one from Paypal and one from a Gentlemen who said he'd not received his login info for my member site. He said that he got an error saying ' "Payment Verification has timed out"

I wrote quickly and said I'd only just got his payment notification from Paypal then I went to set him get his login. In that time I must not have noticed the WSO Pro Email.

The WSO PRO Email said:

Status: WSO SALE - INCORRECT DATA

And when I checked the price the fee is for my starter price of $7 - my WSO is now $37

So what's going on here do you think?

Did someone just get my WSO for heck of a lot cheaper or what? This is was my first WSO and first time using PRO. All other transactions have gone through fine.

Would appreciated some feedback from some seasoned WSO Pro Users.

Thanks.

I'll be awake for a few hours.

If my spelling and stuff sucks I'm sorry. I'm really tired. I can't sleep until I find out what's happened.

      First thing,

Have the guy email you his transaction ID information, Paypal account name and paypal address to see what matches up with the information you have int your account.

The transaction nubmers won't be teh same but you will be able to cross check tthe other info to see what matches.

I checked both the PayPal email and the email from WSO Pro and the details match, but what I noticed it he's an affiliate. His aff link has showed up on WSO Pro email. (I only approved three and all three seemed have used their aff links...).

Possibly he could have saved the web page early when it was $7 to pay and just used that?

But his email is not showing up on my buyers list? Which is strange because the money is in my account.

I have submitted a ticket but I just wanted some feedback from people here.

        Thanks for responding btw.

          You're welcome.

Could be just one of those glitches that happens. I am not 100 percent sure on this, but I don't think you can buy through your affiliate link using the same paypal account that WSO Pro is paying you through.

That could have been what happened.

It could be that he kept the WF page open and then tried to pay through that, or kept the PP page open and then tried to pay through that. Those might throw off errors too.

I just doubled checked and I may stand corrected on the affiliates. I think? I'm not 100% sure either. I know earlier I made two sales and they had the same usernames I approved as affiliates. It's totally possible for people to use a different address and click an affiliate link though I suppose?

You can tell shopping carts in general are not my forte

Yes, even more possible if they have two pp accounts.

Could also be just one of those things. Somedays I think that my whole day is made out of stuff like that. But not too often, thank goodness.

I am pretty sure WSO Pro is set up so that the first sale an affiliate makes goes to the product vendor. So an affiliate will not save themselves any money by purchasing through their own link. It was set up this way to stop that very thing from happening.

You need to ask Mike's support system about this.

What has happened is someone tried to game the system.

Your buyer made a PayPal purchase somehow that used an old version of the WSO Pro button and was able to purchase for less than the current price.

The email you recieved shows that there is a difference in what was paid and what should have been paid, a fraud prevention measure of the WSO Pro system.

The payment verification timed out because the transaction details didn't match what WSO Pro was expecting, so the buyer didn't get access to the product details page.

What happened is exactly what should happen when someone tries to game the system. They tried to get your product for less than the current price and the sytem caught them.

Refund the buyer his money and tell him if he wants your product that he must purchase by clicking the WSO Pro button on the WSO thread in a freshly opened browser window.

Thanks Johnny I appreciate your detailed response. It makes sense. I've refunded them and revoked the membership details. I should have asked questions first though because they has gained access. My fault. Lesson learned.

      Once again thanks so much.

You don't have to, but you can put this person on your product buying blacklist in your WSO Pro account. Then they could not buy from you again.
