Im tired of Ezine rejecting my articles.

they rank sometimes better than ezine and their approval speed is really fast.

Don't take this as an insult, but rather an observation that if your articles are not acceptable to Ezine, they may not be effective anywhere. Find out why your articles are not being accepted, and get whatever those deficiencies are corrected. It appears to me that Ezine could be very helpful for improving your articles overall.

MYOB is right. Surely you should be trying to find out WHY EZA is rejecting your articles and working to correct the problem(s). This will then provide you with a far better perspective on your writing abilities.

Webmasters etc. first go to EZA when searching for material for their publications, so if you are writing for syndication, then you need to be on EZA. However, if you are only looking for low quality backlinks, just about any article directory will fit your purpose.

I have found Ezine Articles difficult to understand and they want you to pay to get advice every time. They won't even tell what particular area the problem is. Three other recommended submitters have published what they won't.

I've never had an ezine article rejected. What are you doing in your articles. Don't sell in your article, use the resource box to sell and entice. Content in the body, marketing in the resource box.

If the other directories take you articles without the hassle then go with them. EZA is overrated. Also go to Articledashboard, Amazines, ArticleAlley, Ideamarketers, 3StepAds. They have a decent Alexa rank, syndicate your articles and get a decent amount of views.

But I would also check on the quality of the articles that you are sending in. If this is the real problem then it doesn't matter where you put your articles you still wont get the click through or readership that you want.

Thanks everyone. It may be my Aussie accent ha ha. No, I don't put links in my article. I'll stick to the others.

There are a lot of other article directories like Ezine such as amazine, articlealley, ideamarkers, articledashboards, etc... Try submitting your articles to those sites. But what works best is that you try to check your articles for errors. You may also need to consider that your article needs to be improved a bit in order for it to pass for ezine.

I like to use GoArticles and Articles Base, they both rank reasonably well and get good traffic.

Ezine Articles have become stricter on accepting articles and even some well written ones are being rejected if they aren't 'unique' enough. If you believe your articles are good quality then try them at some of the other directories.

I submit to EZA every day, and I'm pleased that I get only very little potential-customer-traffic, that way. I'd be very disappointed and frustrated to get more. With a click-through rate a little under 20% (one in five), for every visitor to my site I got that way, I'd be bemoaning the loss of the four others who didn't click through.

That's why I never give EZA the initial indexation-rights to my work, and I make quite sure that whenever a potential customer finds one of my articles by putting one of its keywords into a search engine, the copy they find is the one on my own site, not the EZA copy.

With a 20% CTR, clearly you get five times as much traffic, that way.

Article directories are not there as a traffic-source in their own right.

I had my first rejection with EZA yesterday. After having an account for 3 years, I was a bit surprised. It wasn't for the content I submitted, but because I linked to one of my niche sites that is monetized with Adsense. They state the site is too commercial in nature...though I provide posts of information and am not trying to "sell" anything on my site.

I just signed up for SooperArticles.com after hearing about them from a few marketers here on the forum. I also use GoArticles.com and ArticlesBase.com.
