Distributing Free Report

I have written a free report with some affiliate links and links back to my own website. I plan on giving it away as an opt-in gift along with a few other things, but I figured it would be a good source of traffic if I distributed it more widely.

So far I planned on offering it as an opt-in gift, offering it for free in my signature, and offering it along with my first WSO. What other ways would you suggest distributing it? It is about using PLR articles and ebooks and is a short overview of how to shop for PLR and use it for the best results in your website.

    I've had some success giving away free stuff through promotional posts on various forums. They weren't in the IM niche though so I'm not sure it would translate well.

    Basically I found forums that would allow me to make such posts, I contacted the moderators if I was unsure, posted a little about the item I was giving away and linked the URL to a direct download page. It would have been rejected had I used an opt-in page. The feedback from these forums has been extremely positive on the product I gave away, but the results from the affiliate traffic have left something to be desired.

    Thank you for the tips.

    Ya, I plan on just giving a direct download to it with the links back to my website since I will also be offering free PLR as an opt-in gift. It is not just a report of advertising, I really feel like it will help people out that don't understand PLR or who have articles they are unsure about how to use as well as point people towards some real quality PLR.

    I suppose I'll have to do some research on possible forums so I can start getting involved now and find which ones would receive it best. Suggestions are always helpful.

    I'm really excited about the WSO. I'm still trying to decide if my first WSO will be a free WSO or a limited PLR pack.

    To answer some questions I have been getting via PM...

    I sent in a ticket to see if I was allowed to post this report in the Make Money Online section and was told that if a report or ebook contains affiliate links it should not be posted in that section and if I would like to post it up on WF I should offer it in the WSO or classifieds section.

    Convert your report into Kindle book. This will give you some good results. Furthermore, make sure to use some part of it and convert it in a video series on YouTube.

    You could always use the viral power of Fanpages. Twitter is a good avenue for report distribution as well!

    I forgot about video marketing! That will have to be my next step after I get the page live. I'm sure I can easily turn a few chapters into videos and then link back to my site for the rest of the information.
