I recently registered two domains carshopping.info and pokerbet.us . How mutch do you think there worth ???

    Without any work done to them? I think not much.

    .info are hard to rank as are .us

    Plus, they're in really tough niches, so sorry, but I don't think they do have all that much value.

        They don't provide great SEO value. I'd actually rather take car-shopping.org or top-poker-bet.com which are both avaliable. The SEO benefits would be as good, or better, and I would need to pay a fortune for them.

          and for toppokerbet.com estibot gives 0$ but for pokerbet.us gives 330$ and 1.54 CPC

            It's just a tool. I can tell you that without developing unless you're extremely lucky you will not sell any of them.

            Estibot isn't a real customer with cash in hand and cannot really give you an accurate appraisal. The domains are worth what someone is willing to pay for them. I hate the extensions, so for that reason, would not consider buying them myself. .com, .net and .org and I have some .co but I don't buy any other extensions.

            It is untrue, however that .info doesn't do well in serps. They do and there's plenty of people who can testify to that.

              I'm talking as in general belief. I myself have a .info ranking #2 for a pretty competitive keyword.

              But it'd hard to sell specially with no upfront work made.

      Your registered domains needs development with search engine optimization in mind. This will draw visitors as much as the site will be searchable by Google or other search engines. This will improve the value for domains in case you would need to sell them.

    It's all relative. If someone wants it they'll pay for it... whatever they think it's worth.

    Today a domain like nothingmattersmuch.com may be worth nothing but if Apple realised a new gadget named the NothingMattersMuch TM then I'm pretty sure it would be worth a bunch of cash to them....

      No one who is serious takes a blind bit of notice of those dollar appraisals from estibot, and those that do are usually shown to be naive fairly fast...it gives way to much credence to .com value and doesn't have a heart anyway so cannot be relied upon. You might as well smack your head into a brick wall and then decipher the blood pattern :p

      I personally like the .info extension, it is simply a shame that for the most part it is undervalued because registrars throw it away so it never really took off, and it is possible to get some phenomenal keyword combinations from time to time, that in 10 years will be impossible to acquire otherwise.

      Check out Germany.info, I believe that is doing very well for itself

      Back to the question at hand, Car shopping could do fine at a car place in America for a couple of hundred dollars for someone who cannot afford a good .com and has the good sense not to shove USELESS words onto it like roadkill, but pokerbet.us is a tough one, America recently illegally seized gambling domains from a variety of sources so everyone is a bit uptight about them.
