Facebook Fan Page Question

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem:

A lot of my traffic to one of my sites (a blog) comes from the Facebook fanpage. Starting a few days ago, Facebook told me I couldn't post links on my fanpage because they had been marked as "spammy." It gave me a means to contact FB if I thought it was an error.

Obviously I contacted FB (twice now) and they have not responded. In the meantime, a very high profile blog ran a guest post of mine and I've got a ton of traffic coming to my blog. And my dead FB fan page.

Has anyone had this problem? How do I fix it if FB won't? Can I hire it out? This is a niche that lives and dies by FB fanpages. I thought it would resolve itself in a day or two. Now I don't even want to promote my blog until I get this fixed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just keep engaging with your fans on the FB page, even if you can't post links. Put the link in the section under the photo on the left and if you don't have a custom landing tab set up already, set one up and promo the blog on that too.

I wouldn't stop promoting your blog elsewhere either. You've got some momentum, and even if you're limited by not being able to post links on the FB page, you have to try to keep it going as best as you can. Keep trying to get people to like the page.

How were you pitching the blog when you linked to it on the page? It's tough to really know where you went wrong without knowing more details.

You just need to mix it up by doing other types of posts. Keep links to your blog to less than 20-25% of your posts, plus link to other places than just your blog.

You could also take your blog posts and post them as notes with links back to your blog.

If you are the Page Owner I dont see how they could tell you a post was "spammy". I haven't heard this one before - hope it works out for you.

This is interesting, I've started a fan page for my blog as well and every time I review a product, I make a post to my FB fan page linking to the post on my blog.

Is this not the point of my fanpage?
