I really need help!!! Please!!

I currently own 2 established websites that was made by other people. 1 is traffic outsourcing for alexa, and other is just ordinary affiliate marketing niche website.

I am a total newbie and had these for about a month and kinda stuck.

I need some help to run(?) or make this traffic outsource site to make some sales. I have bought some targeted visitor from one of warriors and got like 10k UV for a month with 0 sales.

Other niche website, I was thinking about making some income from adsense and affiliate marketing but somehow I do get about 400 UV a month but no revenue from adsense. Not even $0.01. I am not sure what is wrong with it.

So I really need someone who is eager to help a newbie. I can let you access login info to see what I did wrong if you can help.

The free traffic method I do are backlink from blog commenting and forum.

        Kwnyoo,

The best advice I can give you is to read everything you can on this forum. Become a War Room member and read everything there.

If you had purchased an automobile repair shop, you might still need to learn the ropes before you start working on customer's automobiles. It is the same with Internet Marketing, spend the time learning the ropes, just like the successful IMs here have done and you will eventually have success. It is not an overnight thing...

I wanted to figure out what I am doing wrong with my websites. I can't figure it out myself and I am stuck. I do read a lot of posts here. But many threads share one answer but too many directions and I get confused there also. I am not looking for big revenue from start. I just want to see single $1 so I know that I am on the right track.

The alexa traffic site looks like you bought over at Flippa. Am I correct there?

Your affiliate marketing blog, you say you are getting 400 UV's a month. What kind of keywords are you getting found for?

I checked out both of your sites from your sig. I know that improving a web site's ranking is important to just about anyone with a site but I know that I usually worry more about search engine rankings and the traffic that comes from them rather than traffic coming from Alexa.

The second site looks like you're trying to get it going in the IM world. Tough niche to pick there if you're not making any money online. I don't mean to be harsh.

There was another post today from someone that wiled away ten years and about 10K on PPC (pay per click) without making any money. So you're wise in asking for help.

I'm not sure what your goals are. Do you just want these particular sites to make money? Are you hoping to learn internet marketing and build other sites? What's your situation? There are people here that can and will help you... Saturday night is a little quiet on here but for trolls usually but things may perk up and you'll get some futher advice, I am sure.

The suggestion to join the War Room is a good one, by the way. There is a lot of info to digest here on the main forum as well as other parts of the forum as you get into SEO, copywriting etc. But the War Room is a great resource with tons of valuable info. It can feel like you're eating an elephant sometimes. Just remember... one bite at a time.

If you don't know the basics you need to either hire a webmaster/SEO guy or learn them on your own.

I recommend learning on your own because people without basic web dev/marketing/SEO skills in this industry have a really uphill battle, even when it comes to outsourcing.

I usually recommend against purchasing traffic in favor of driving organic results. I don't think having people take a look at what you're doing is going to help much, I think you just need to come up with a solid business plan... it's just too easy for the inexperienced to get burned in this industry

well, no one gives a sh*t about Alexa. If you want rankings for that, get your friends together and have them install the toolbar and then set their homepage to your website.
I would suggest that if you are going to keep pushing that, then you should at least have a good Alexa score.

Your blog: Learn to use headers and bullets. People like to browse.
You bought the domain in May? To make your mark on Google, in the "market" that you have selected, and judging by the content of what your keywords are, you are going to need to give it some time and a lot of work. Perhaps years. Did you happen to research your competition? This isn't going to be an overnight gig. Do you have a business plan or marketing plan? SEO plan? A list of your competitors backlinks? Any keyword research?

I would suggest scaling down. Trying to dominate "affiliate marketing" is much too broad an area to dive into. Give one long tail keyword you are shooting for. No one will steal it.

I'm going to be brutal here. Ditch both sites and start again. View it as a learning curve.

The Alexa site. Ask yourself this - why would anyone want to improve their Alexa rank? What most site owners want is real traffic. They want to improve their position in the search engines, not in Alexa.

The affiliate site - I've said this before on this forum, but I'm going to say it again. Most of those articles are full of what I call "filler sentences". Repeated, boring, unnecessary "stuff" used to increase the word count - which simply decreases the likelihood that anyone will read the articles.

I read one - and it is, to put it bluntly, either wrong or misleading. It tells me:
Here are three mistakes you don’t have to make:
And those three mistakes are? The answers might surprise you. They include:
You want to make sure the product is a proven seller. You don’t want to waste your time and money driving traffic to a site that doesn’t convert. Find one with a good conversion rate.
    That's NOT a mistake - that's sound advise.

Also - get rid of the hundreds of spam comments posted on the blog.

If you are going to run a blog - write your own posts on a subject you know something about, publish only real comments and clear out the crud.

First off as a general rule purchased traffic does not convert.

Second is a question. How did you choose those two sites? Did you do any keyword research?

Third, I agree on the alexa site. Nobody with any knowledge cares about alexa rankings so your market for that would be newbies that do not know any better.

Fourth, the affiliate site. This seems to be another poor choice for you. What do you know about affiliate marketing and why should anybody come to your site for advice. The IM field is pretty brutal, there are thousands of niches out there with a lot less competition that you should be looking at before you get anywhere near something like that.

Find yourself a niche where you can rank for a bunch of related easy competition keywords and build yourself a site for them. Do a couple of easy niches make a few bucks and then when you feel comfortable you have some idea what you are doing move up to something a little more competitive. do a couple of those and then move up again if you feel the need.

Step 1 - Get a rubber band (preferably heavy duty)

Step 2 - Stretch it away from yourself

Step 3 - Snap yourself in the eye (of your choice)

You cannot do anything online half-arsed and expect residual paychecks.

Make a name for yourself, created organic SEO content across the web, follow the BUOY effect (golden rule), and join social networking sites. You could have the best affiliate products in the world, and the least sucky AdSense ads as well, but no one will see them if you're not generating traffic.

10k UV a month with no sales? That sounds impossible.
Maybe you are not getting some quality traffic. Do you know where this traffic come from?
I believe the problem is not with your product or website. It's about the traffic you get.

You said you bought a targeted visitors from some warrior members. It seems that these warrior is using some software or low quality traffic method.

1st thing you need to do is research...Do you know people are seeking services to increase their alexa rankings?

If not, then no matter how many people you drive over there, you aren't going to make many sales.

So, perhaps let us know, hoe much research did you do?

2ndly, with the amount of traffic you have (10k?) you could always survey that traffic and ask them their needs.

I would offer them something valuable for free in exchange.

Finally, looking at the site, I think you need to strengthen your positioning in the following ways...

    • explain why people should care about their alexa ranking
    • A case study would be useful (option to force an optin to watch)
    • some testimonials on the front page
    • your USP -no indication what you are offering
    • A pic of you or something that gives this site some believability.

Buying traffic is not a good source of traffic and rarely converts, unless it is Adwords type traffic, including the type of traffic that you are selling on one of the sites. Looks like you might be a victim of the great Flippa traffic websites scammer, who has sold about a million of those useless websites.

Blog spamming is not a good source of traffic. When you say forum ... what exactly do you mean by forum. A good sig link in relevant valuable content in a forum can bring some traffic after you've built up a reputation.

Social bookmarking is a good way to get some traffic. I use a lot of different social bookmark sites to keep my bookmarks varied.
