I am going in a new direction with IM-think I may hit the big time

With it. So WTF am I so afraid of just going in for the whole hog so to speak? No normal human being should be this afraid of hitting a goal of 5 figures per month. But I am because I've been so used to settling for a few hundred bucks per month.

It's going to require some diligent backlink building and content creation over the course of the next few months, but I am confident that it will pay off. It requires a $150 investment into services per month, and I think this is where I'm getting nervous with things. Someone please knock some sense into me and tell me not to settle for my puny goals. Trading 3 figures for five figures is a good deal. Right? Right.

Read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.

Your mindset is embedded in poverty (for lack of a better word) because that's what you're used to. This IS something you can change.

    Charlotte,

My old real estate broker used to say:

'You know the difference between selling a $100,000 home and a $1,000,000 home?'

    A Zero.

Now go out and make some serious money.

If you already have a site that generates say $300/month, then you already have a winning formula. Let's say you duplicate that site with another product to produce another $300/mo...do it 10 times (10 websites) with each site earning that amount, this would give you a $3000/mo income.

Then if you work on increasing each site to earn an additional $10 a day, that's $303 per month. You just doubled the sites income. Again if you have multiple sites like these, in this example 10 sites now each producing $600/mo, you now just created a $72k a year income for yourself.

Now I am sure it won't be easy doing this, it will take WORK and lots of it. But if you're not afraid to do the work, then just bear down, put the blinders on and forge ahead.

Remember, no guts, no glory. There can be no great success without great commitment.

If you believe it, you can achieve it. All you have to do is to have faith in yourself. The only difference between the hordes of people on this site that are making it and you is time and experience. So just get busy working the plan, and you will gain that experience and time. It is a done deal.

    Hey Charlotte

    I'm rooting for you girl!

As far as the outlay is concerned, the $150 is peanuts anyway. So go for it. If you don't start to see some positive results after 3 months, then ditch those services and find some others, but don't abandon the goal.

    Good luck,

    Will

Going for 5 figures in a month is no different to going for four figures per month.

In actual fact the same applies to 6 figures in a month.

At the end of the day if you believe in yourself Charlotte you can do it. Customers are customers. Doesn't matter how much money they have, they can be the richest people on the planet but they still have to take a crap every day and when nobody is looking, pick their noses. No different to anybody else.

It all comes down to your positioning. If you position yourself to offer superb value for money, people will recognize this sooner or later and take notice of what it is you're able to offer them. If they can profit from you they'll happily pay you for what you're bringing to the table.

4 figures, 5, 6 per month? They're just digits. Nothing whatsoever to be afraid of.

Just go for it. Organize yourself. Create a plan, define your strategy and enact your tactics to move you from wherever you are now to move yourself towards your ideal financial destination and monetary goals.

      Best of luck!

I think that the fear and uncertainty are natural... as is
doing things within your comfort zone.

It takes practice to take action in spite of the fear and
to make stepping outside your comfort zone a habit.

After while it becomes so exciting that it's almost
addicting, and it's at that point that you often makes
    quantum leaps.

Once you know that you have done your research, and
are dealing with solid math, then it's really just a matter
    of doing it :-)

Do what you think is best. If you are determined and convinced that you really are making a good trade of your money to earn better then go for it. The good thing now is you have a plan.

    First, an observation:

Most of the advice I received starting out was wrong. Once I reached a certain level of income, I knew it was wrong because I'd done it. There is a different conversation at each level of success. You can always tell who's making a certain level of money or not by what they're focused on and the kinds of questions they ask. My peers at each level did not intentionally misled me, they simply didn't know what they didn't know.

Now, the truth is, no one makes the leap from three figures to five figures to six figures on their own. Leaps in income, just as in life expose deficiencies. In human beings, it most often shows up in values conflicts and certainty gaps that paralyze you. You overcome this by developing a clear vision, conditioning yourself to play at another level and with accountability coaching that get's you through the stuck points.

You are always paid for WHO YOU ARE, not what you do.

Read "Do The Work" by Steven Pressfield, twice.

Here are a few thoughts and questions to get you started:

    (1) Get passionate or angry. Nothing changes until you hate where you are. Ever been in a small space? Know how that feels, you want to break out. That's the feeling.

    (2) Go to a mirror, look at yourself and make a decision to STOP STEALING form your family and others.

    (3) Stop all negative communication about wealthy people, the economy, etc.

    (4) Believe in something bigger that yourself. Faith is necessary to succeed sane.

    (5) Cut your expenses by 30% immediately. Focus on extreme profitability.

    (6) Now, ask yourself, WHY is earning a certain level of income a must?

    (7) Make a list of 10 reasons why it is YOU? Don't put money on the list. Money is not a motivator, its what you think money will make possible.

    (8) What are the milestones you can measure? Set a specific goal in a defined period of time with accountability. No one loses 100 pounds in a week, the same is true of earning.

    (9) What must you start, step or continue to make the goal real? For example, if you watch TV or surf forums, stop. If you have pitch email coming to your personal email address, unsubscribe or create another address.

    (10) Create a checklist of what needs to be done to get the result you want. Then follow it whether you feel like it or not.

    (11) Make changes in your environment. Change the room around. Post a visual of your goals on the wall. Change the sounds and the smells in the room (aromatherapy).

    (12) Block out time each week in your schedule as an appointment to work in your business. Invest 80% of your time working on dollar productive activities.

    (13) Ignore most of what your friends and peers are saying. They don't know either. They unconsciously want you to stay who you are.

    (14) Get in one mastermind group with people just above the earning level you want. Sell your TV or whatever else to pay a real mentor who will talk to you over the telephone.

Avoid people who primarily play the ad or money game. (Not the skills you need long terms.) Work with someone who's done creating a site, ranking it well, building traffic, promoting products, creating your own products, building a list, making money daily, etc.. The trouble is most people never master the fundamentals of Internet business. Don't make that mistake.

    (15) Go to at least one real seminar every six months, not a pitch fest but one where the real information is being taught from the stage versus sold in a magic black box.

    (16) Be ruthless with your time. if you're not upsetting at least one person at week because you won't waste time with them, you're not focused.

    (17) Thank me.
