Do HIGH TICKET items Require a Different marketing tone/approach,compared to Low {selling to a list}

If promoting High ticket items to a list ($1000+) compared to $10-$147 items to the same list,

then is the marketing approach required, with your Email tone expected to be different for selling the high ticket ones compared to the low end items?

if so what should the email style be, how should it be differernt?

Eg- more emails? more of a selling tone?

how would selling high end items vary compared to high end?

People are willing to take a risk with a $10 product, so trust isn't AS important (it still matters for sure, but "is this a scam" isn't as prominent a concern).

With high price items, they're going to need to trust you AND your opinion AND really need the product - they need to be convinced absolutely that it's not a scam and that the return on investment will be hefty.

So I do think the tone would be different, but that depends lot on the product

If you are selling high ticket products then you need to be providing a lot of value first in the form of good free information relating to the product you are promoting.

You also need to build a relationship and trust with your email list first also, ie, provide excellent value in the form of advice, tips etc

You just need to give more value first if you are selling a higher ticket item, never be pushy in your emails just try to position yourself as the expert by giving great tips and advice in your emails.

    Hope this helps

I sell high end products by progressive incremental selling beginning with lower priced products. As long as the buying experience is positive and your customers are never disappointed, you should be able to gain their trust to buy expensive products; well into even the six figure price range.

      -ing and services. And...

      Here's the difference:

      *Confidence*

I know that the ONLY reason I've yet to sell product
or services over $1000 is due to MY confidence. How?

Because the steps it took for me to go from selling in
the $10 to $147 range to double that was a decision
      I made.

      Another one is...

*targeting HIGHER-END people who can AFFORD higher
      -end products and services.*

It does no good to target people who can't afford your
stuff no matter how great your stuff is.

      Another is...

      better sales and marketing strategy.

I discovered that the BETTER I was at selling & market
-ting myself, the EASIER it was for me to sell high-end
stuff. But, it's not necessarily HARD selling - it's more
like *sellucation* or selling + education. In other words...

being an EXPERT in your field AND knowing how to sell
and/or market your expertise...not easy to do as most
people are great in one - or the other - sometimes to
      their detriment.

A combination of those three factors determines the sell
-ing tone without you even thinking about it. It just *is*
and you don't really have to TRY to. It happens.

      Did that answer your question?
That is an cool answer, cheers.
and you have gone into things which are overlooked.

Can i see your product pages, where you sel these (Even in a PM)

      $200 - $400List 1?
      $500 - $700 List 2?

Do you have a seperate list for them Red ranges above? What other list names/ranges do you have?

Please can you show, to make it easier to understand how you manage your list

Above a certain pricepoint, higher-touch marketing seems
    to work better....

Webinars where they can actually interact with you

    Telephone calls

    Live semianrs and workshops

So, the different approach to me seems to boil down to
them needed to be able to "read" you better. As has
already been pointed out, they need to feel that they
    can trust you more.
