All-in-one marketing solution or individual services?

Do most of the pros here use an autoresponder apart from their cart and other services? I am about to release an e-book and need to do everything--build a list, automate newsletter delivery, take payment, etc.

It seem like the all-in-one solutions want $50 a month for 'digital delivery'...isn't this something one can do easily from any website?

Thanks for any feedback. What an incredible resource this is.

I've considered all in one options, but always decided against it. I've heard too many complaints from people who have one provider for everything.

I like to spread the risk. :-)

If your all in one solution dies, you're stuck. If you're using different services, you can always switch to another autoresponder, or whatever.

My two cents. :-)

I don't even have my domains and hosting from the same provider! All-in-one service providers may be an easy way to get your feet wet. Once you're ready to dive in and swim, spread it around -- get a unique and replaceable service for each element of your sales and marketing process.

Having said that, I DO use e-junkie to deliver digital products and occasionally send out a broadcast to the list of buyers I have accumulated...
