Making money online is hard for adults but its even harder when your only 14..

I have tried almost everything.. I have even asked for someone to coach me in making money online (no one wanted to)

And I don't have a job (at this age hard to find one) so therefore I don't have funds to do everything.. Yeah I can pay for hosting and domains but if I don't make any money back all of my money is going in the drain for what? nothing..

So right now I am considering very hard if I should stop and maybe try again when I am older? The thing is I need money for school, college (I don't want to be like people trying to make all their money while going to college and working 2 jobs or anything like that)

And to also make it where I can buy what I want so my parents won't have to.. So I am trying to see if this will ever workout or am I just wasting my time doing this so young?

Well, for starters, I admire your ambition. If I had started when I was 14, I'd be in an entirely different place, I'm sure.

I'd say don't give up... but definitely stop doing what is NOT working.

Have you seen ANY results? If so, focus on that.

Do what works for you, and don't worry about anything else.

definitely - yes - come up with your own stuff that´s the only way to make this working. do not try any "methods", do not buy any material just plain work hard - which i know is hard at the age of 14 but nothing to lose, just to win :-) good luck

Never give up! Thats a lesson you need to learn while your young. The longer you wait to learn that lesson, the more time you've wasted.

You are 14 for crying out loud! You've got a ton of time and energy to put into learning this sorta stuff. Being that young, you'll also be able to pick up this stuff much faster than someone starting thats a lot older than you.

Stick with it, read these forums religiously, and most of all take action and DON'T give up. Stick with this till your 18, and you'll be making a nice sized income at that point.

Buy hosting and one awesome domain. Don't spend another penny. Just consistently build awesome content and some manual link building. That is your equity and you can just gradually increase traffic and when you are ready to monazite it you will be a veteran.

Why not write about your journey And experiences as a 14 year old marketer. You must have an interest in it as you wouldnt be here otherwise.

You could start a free hosted blogger or wordpress on this to start with and then once you get some cash up migrate it to your own domain/host.

Or hit up some freelance sites and offer a service like blog commenting paid forum commenting etc

Theres so many ways to go. My head spins to think of it

I'm guessing that you have a smart (ish) phone and don't live in a cave. So there is your content. Go out shooting video and taking photos of your life and the wourld round you and add them to youtube/flickr/panaramio etc. and then blog about your life.
Ask friends/family to link to you from their social media accounts/blogs/websites etc.
Get real world connections for your blog posts.
Example. A week ago I did a restaurant review (favourable). I then added the link to their facebook page and a few days later I went back to have a drink in their bar and spoke to the manager, told him, I'd bloged the restaurant and faceboked him. Result was he gave me a link on their website and a voucher (no hidden extras) for a free lunch and wine for 2 worth £50.

If I was starting out at 14, I would use a free blogger blog and intergrate Google Adsense and Amazom (both built in). No point in spending money when you are just starting out if you do not understand our to get results from your investment. Better to learn your mistakes for free.

I feel there is definitely opportunity to make money with teencircuit.com. However, the old adage "if you build it, they will come" isn't always so accurate. You will need a plan of action and inexpensive (if not free, i.e., organic traffic, seo, etc.) way to drive traffic to your site. You can post (proactively) in other related teen forums, answers.yahoo.com, etc., etc. to build up your user base but prior to that you will likely need to build out some content for the forum by writing your own posts and articles so once you do get traffic visitors will have content ready they can tap into. You can leverage adsense to help monetize the site in the beginning and sell ad inventory (give it away just to get ads in beginning) as well. I'm sure there are plenty of other options for this niche forum as well. The only down side I see would be that it's targeted to teens who likely don't have money to buy ads that may be placed on your site at some point.

      Hope that helps.

PS - Never give up! You're stupid young and have nothing but room for growth! Onward & Upward!

I recommend you get your insight from the great leaders of our time like Napolean Hill, Dale Carnegie, Zig Ziglar and on. Its best to get advice from people who have climbed to the top of the mountain tops.

You are experiencing temporary defeat and that is where many people triumph because they did not give up. There is so much more I could say but I recommend you read think and grow rich to get the foundation to success.

To answer the last question I don't see much promise in the teen circuit forum because of the lack of traffic coming in. I have been noticing a trend and I will point it out. The road with less obstacles for internet marketers is to do the combination of offline and online.

Example: Sign up with a network marketing company and use your internet marketing skills to generate leads and filter prospects. Approach local businesses and prove to them that you can land them on the 1st page of Google.

You need to come up with what you will do online to succeed. You have to love what you do. You'll need a vision that you believe in and a burning desire to achieve it and then your journey will begin.

Continue with your persistence until you succeed because you will regret it your whole life if you end up working a 9-5 till your gray and old because you gave up on the most profitable but most difficult position on earth.

I think you should enjoy your youth while you still have it. There is plenty of time to become old grumps like many of us. But, since we know young people don't listen to such things, perhaps work in a niche that you enjoy, besides young girls. If you work in something that you enjoy, then you are more likely to work hard at it. If you can involve a friend, then you can both support each other. This road can be lonely and very time consuming. Sharing it with someone else does help.

The best of luck to you! You seem like you will do well in this world.

Why don't you come up with a concrete business plan and talk to your parents or family about helping you with some start up funds. There are some inexpensive internet business ventures that could create a nice income for a person regardless of their age. If you can show that you are serious and have a plan chances are your family will be willing to float you some of the money needed to get started.

    Create prosperity channels...

There is an abundance of money ALL around you, even at 14.

There are a million transactions floating around you going back and forth in the ethers everywhere you look going through wires and snail mail, and at checkout counters and through pay pal... On the warrior forum alone tens of thousands of dollars exchange hands daily if not more... At alibaba.com 100 million dollars exchange hands daily... and ebay...

There is money flowing all around... we are swimming in an ocean of it.

Now let me give you a secret... let's pretend you are down in a well with a board over the top of it, and someone punches a hole in it... then suddenly a channel of light comes though...

Now think of the link in your sig... every post you make is a potential channel of light like that, which allows a little prosperity to come through.

Every sales person you hire is a channel of light... an opening to where some of the light thats all around can make its way to YOU... You see with no holes punched in the board there are no openings for prosperity to channel its way to you.

Now change that, and creating some channels...some openings to where prosperity can flow to you...

Every link you put on the interent is a channel , an opening, to where some of the universe abundance can flow to you.

If you have no channels, or "openings" for it to flow through then its blocked.

    Thats only one example...

There is so much abundance...you have to open the channels.

If the channel is closed, then the the ocean of prosperity is held back from you.

Open it up. Quit looking for a system, and just see logical sense, even at your age... "all I have to do is open up the channels, for prosperity to flow to me".

You have to create channels for prosperity to come through.

Brad here. I agree with the rest of the post - Never give up. You are the absolutely perfect age to get everything out of internet marketing. You will be a part of the next wave - trust your instincts on this.

Here is my suggestion. Don't spend any money right now. Do your research. Find one or two programs you can get the maximum FREE stuff from and learn - learn everything you can from them.

For absolutely the best free stuff I like Internet Business Mastery dot com. Jay and Sterling are great voices on the internet. The have a series of fantastic pod casts -- all free -- have been great instruction for me.

Take a look at Internet Business Mastery pod cases. Then go to youtube dot com and look for Chris Farrell, Jeff Walker and Jeff Johnson. These three have fantastic videos and explain how the market works.

My faith is in your youth and inquisitive nature. Just allow the experience to lead you to the niche you will be interested in following.

Be mindful that more and more sales are occurring on the internet every day -- not in how to make money but in hard goods. Learn affiliate programs like amazon and Commission Junction. They are a way off for you now but with them in mind your education and training will lead you to the areas that interest you the most.

You already have offers for help - don't take that lightly. A lot of folks want you to succeed - we all are pulling for you.

Best of luck and cheers !

    Dear Lilc800,

By all means keep plugging away!

When your just starting out, it's encouraging to think of your (temporary) lack of funds as an asset.

I know that sounds crazy but...

Internet marketing makes use of many different skill sets.
    Copywriting, webdesign, photoshop, article writing,
advertising, psychology, seo, product creation, etc.

If you were, for example, a 60 year old man, who recently retired from his office job and and decided to take a stab at internet marketing, you might use the skills you already have and then just pay others
to take of the other elements. After all, learning new skills sets takes tons of time.

But, since you're starting out at the wonderfully early age of 14, and are low on funding at the moment, you don't have the luxury to outsource tasks that your not familiar with yet.

Instead you have the time and hopefully the energy and drive to learn and invest in these skills.

Also, having a lack of funds forces you to be creative. Anytime you encounter a problem, instead of throwing money at it, you come up with a free or low cost solution -this is a great skill to develop.

(I'm not saying that it's always efficient to learn every new skill instead of outsourcing it, but just that, in the beginning, it's great to invest the time in these fundamental skills). There's so many interesting things to learn. And, if down the road you decide to outsource some tasks, you'll be glad you already know how to do them because you can manage the job much better.

Also, because of your age you have several other important advantages. You don't have to worry about paying any major bills. You have lots of time to fail and recover -fail well and fail often as they say - there is no better learning experience. Also, at 14, you've probably had access to a computer since you were born. This early exposure will help learn all the skills much more rapidly than say your grandparents (or even your parents...even me).

So don't you dare give up!
(unless you really hate the whole process, in which case, feel free to move on to something you enjoy more. But I sense from your post, that you enjoy this, and starting at 14 means something drew you to it.

So keep going! Do a little each day. Don't wait until you're older, that would be time lost.

You got piles of good advice and good will in all the replies here. Take it too heart and put it to use.

    Be a warrior, be unstoppable!

    Best of luck going forward!

    Justin

p.s. Keep us posted on your progress.

at 14 it might be best to get a wordpress.com blog or blogger blog to get your feet wet. But I'd need a PayPal, HostGator and GoDaddy account so I can buy domain after domainage. I think all kids should learn aspects of internet marketing and internet technology so they understand how to make money in the new economy. I think a kid who knows how to market and build blogs, deal with hosts is 10 times more valuable than a young person graduating college with a Masters. The person with the masters doesn't actually know anything and they've got a mountain of debt to pay off.

I really think college is weakening it's value due to college loans. Everyone can get a college loan and college standards are coming down. So in a nutshell, college means less than it did and I no longer recommend ANY KID going to college unless it's for an actual skill, like programming, that you can use.

    Okay, I rambled. Sorry.

Please don't give up. Learning is a life long process. Eventually one will fail and face setback. Do have a positive mindset and explore forums contents and learn from others who are successful. As beginner, you might want to try traffic exchange in order to get traffic, PTC (Paid To Click), affliate, do some microjobs online and others that are simple task required.
Later you might decide to go advance.

My friend, I was 16 when I first got into trying to tackle this type of money making. It was tough I was working and going to school my problem was finding the time to learn it. I did make a few bucks, and started with web hosting and website development for friends in school and expanded out. Around 18 I quit working on the internet money making, and wish I hadn't. I'm just now getting back into it since January, and am making sure I talk to lots of different people, especially on WF, and make sure I don't make the same mistakes I made before. If you find something that makes you $1, vs. something that hasn't made you 1 cent, chances are your on to something, so stick with it, don't be afraid to ask even the stupid questions, and you'll do alright. You'll make more money working with people on here, than your friends will make with their petty summer jobs and allowances I promise!

I am truly impressed by your ambition at a such young age for starter. I would suggest you try to not to focus too much on making money at first especially not having the capital or experiences. Try to learn the industry at your spare time and treat this as your hobby, don't be afraid to ask any stupid questions on this forum, pm me if you have any questions, always be glad to help.

First thing first. What is your motivation to make money? What i read was enough motive to go on don't give up. Some people at your age think of how to ask and spend so you are coming at a time and day that you are needed. I always tell myself if others can do it, why not me? Age means nothing here... money doesn't know age.

First off , top marks for being thoughtful and wanting to earn money yourself rather than sponging off your parents .

Here's the thing .You are not going to succeed if you think making money is hard . You are not going to do anything about making money if you think it is hard . Change the way you are thinking . Ask yourself "How can i make money easily " , "What can I do that people would be willing to pay " until you come with some ideas . When you have some ideas ,execute themwith .

I have also included a video that addresses this issue. It would guide along the right path:

Whatever you do, don't quit! Quitting is highly addictive! Once you get into the habit of quitting, it's harder than any drug to break! The only habit worse is making excuses and alibis for everything that doesn't go your way.

You've got 4 years before college, so your priority right now should be to learn as much as you can while it's still free, get your grades to straight A's and enjoy being a teen!

Treat this as you would any other extracurricular activity - no more than an hour or two each day.

The only suggestion I would make is to take Journalism classes in high school as an elective - at least two years, preferably three or four. Depending on what else might be offered, you might want to include some Mass Communications for audio, video production. (Web Design, not so much; same with Programming. These aren't going to be nearly as lucrative in the 21st century as they were in the 20th, and much of the very best world-class stuff has been coming out of India and Asia for almost 20 years now. They'll be able and happy to work for a fraction of what you'll need to maintain a hum-drum lifestyle - and that's not likely to change for another 20-30 years.)

Now. Fourteen. You're going to change your mind about an hundred times before you even get to college, and I remember many classmates who were miserable until they changed their major in their second year!
That's perfectly normal! (And the dirty little secret is that most people never get a career in their major anyhow.)

With the economy in utter shambles, you might be able to pick up a few odd-jobs mowing lawns, stuff like that, but you'd probably be better off learning more about Internet marketing, what options are out there, the ways you can develop your website without spending a dime.

It's all well and good to be an affiliate marketer. Many of them do in fact make huge sums of money, year in, year out. But just imagine how much money they are actually leaving on the table because someone else created the product - and they're making 30-40-50% of sales from ALL their affiliates! Do the math! Learn to write well, and you can be making more money than your college professors by the time you graduate - and financially secure for life you can afford to go into those low-paying careers if that's what makes you happy! Most people don't have that luxury because they have to earn a living; most people are never going to make any serious money in their life because they're too busy earning a living!

Now! What do you want to do? If you can't come up with something more specific than the univeral "make a lot of money" you're in for a very long haul.

However, you can't achieve it unless you are able/believe that you can compete with your online rivals. It's cool to see more teens trying to make money being an entrapreneur! Please don't give up, what I do for funds is go around my neighborhoods and ask people if they want their lawn cut and usually get paid $20 and it takes like an hour! DO that for a week and you could have anywhere from $20-$160 or w/e depending on how many lawns you do! Open a paypal account ( I linked it to my bank account) and transfer the money and there you have it! Hosting and domain at your finger tips and the ability to create anything you want!

Mate, you came to the right place. I agree that people won't help you if ask them physically, but here is where forums and other social media sites come in handy. Get opinions from folks who are expert in their field and they would be happy to guide you. But don't give up without trying, and if you say you tried a lot, then probably you didn't try the right approach to get things done, you tried something that you thought was right.

As a mother, I love how you are being so thoughtful of your parents! I believe you had asked how to drive traffic. Are you quite good at writing? It seems like it from your post, so the best way for you to drive traffic would probably be through writing articles and getting back links. You are in the right place to learn about this, because there are a lot of experts here that post all the time. There's some conflicting information, but even that is better than quitting and gaining no knowledge at all. You will sort all of this out, but my best advice to you is to try to remember to tackle one thing at a time. By this I mean you should get really good at one thing before moving on to learning something new. Sometimes there's just so many things that we are trying to learn at once that we end up only getting slightly efficient at several things without ever getting extremely efficient at anything. I think you will do just fine, and I wish you the best of luck.

Why not just spend time on this forum and learn. It's free and you can learn just about anything right here. Try a blogger blog and mess around putting up some adsense ads and adding images. Write a few articles about your subject and submit them to article directories. Learning and making mistakes is all part of the game. This can all be done for free. Search Google for Bum Marketing and you will have a system that is free. Cost you time, but that's a way to get started.

Don't give up just yet, you could find someone (possibly a relative) who is over 18, and can set up an eBay account for you or use it on your behalf, you can then have a look at what is selling, especially Powersellers, and see if you can find out where they are getting their products from, and simply compete with them

Kudos to you for being an entrepreneur and starting out so early. I would suggest not to give up. Do stick with trying to make an income online.

I would also suggest you first realize what you are really passionate about. Once you know that then you can use that passion for your interest to make money in many ways online.

Write articles about things you are interested in. If you are interested in video games then write and share your knowledge and experience about that for example.

Once you figure out what your passion is - things get easier. Your online work won't seem like work.

share your passion in articles, videos, interviews, however and then start building traffic to them and monetizing those content.

I am sure there are millions of people who share your same passion for the topic you will write about and want to learn more about it - hopefully through your insightful information that you will share with them.

You can create your website/blog or even write articles and share on sites like Squidoo, HubPages and so on. Then through backlinking and seo get the traffic in to those pages. Find complimentary products and recommend to your readers that you know is great and they would love.

Money is not going to pour in today or tomorrow. But through consistent right work and attitude you will make money.

I wish you lots of Luck. Don't give up.

If you give up now you'll regret it for the rest of your life.

Don't aim for the big bucks either.
Persist at ONE THING only. With perseverance you will make a little money - at first! This will drive you on to either repeat what you did, or use the knowledge you gained along the way to start something new.

I toyed with IM 10 years ago, then again about 5 years ago. This time, I decided that nobody's going to employ me securely, and I need to step outside the box to find my own way, and offer my kids a better, more secure future.

My first income (after 5 months work) was 55 cents!

That 55 cents changed my life. I knew I was going right somewhere, so I became driven to carry on.

3 weeks later, I earned $25.00 (recurring for 2 years), a week later, $75.00 (again recurring).

Once you bump off the bottom, each new sale drives you on, and you'll be able to diversify and invest for even more success.

Everyone around me told me I was wasting my time on 'Fly By Night, Get Rich Quick Schemes'. I replied that I was trying to build a more secure future for my family, in bleak economic times.

Wiped the smug grins off their faces when I told them (after a while) I was now making over $1000.00 per week! Those same critics are now VERY interested to know how I did it.

I'm not talking down to you, but you're 14.
At 14 you're used to getting an education, and learning constantly, so you're well positioned to take that learning skill, and apply it in the world of IM. After all, when you started school, you probably couldn't even write, but you can now. An education doesn't happen overnight.

Look, Listen, Learn, Ask, and be patient. It can, and will happen. Look for your 55 cents first and the rest will follow.

      Kick yourself hard - now!
If you give up now, get used to the kicking.

Look forward to the day, even if it's in a year's time, when you tell your parents you're an Internet Marketer, and you're earning $xxxx a week.

      Listen to the Warriors

      Cheers

In reading your initial post, it appears that your reason for trying IM is to earn some money. It doesn't really sound like it's a passion or a life-long desire to do this forever. So at some point, you might actually shift to an activity you find more fulfilling and rewarding. To do that wouldn't mean you're a failure at IM, just that you found something else more rewarding. Perhaps, you might find that being a teacher, social worker, doctor, carpenter, painter, Air Force or commercial pilot, etc., brings more meaning and rewards to your life than IM might have done. In that case, pursue what's best for you.

Don't give up there is always a period of time where you will need to learn. It does take time and for people who give up quickly never make it because quitters never win. The best thing to do is to hook up with people who are already making money online and are willing to teach you and guide you. Just like in any career people go for schooling and the same goes for online marketing. The best thing to do now is to invest in your education and learn what you need to be successful at online marketing.

That is when I decided to give it one last shot and FINALLY launched my first product.

Results? $130 in 3 days...Honestly, seeing the paypal notifications were a big motivator. No profit, but glad I saw some sales!

I got tired of trying all these different techniques. I decided to finally put a product up and start selling. No more wasting time looking left and right.

Hi lilc800! Just found your post. I have a great-niece (12 yrs old) who's trying to find a way to pull in some bucks and I have her making squidoo lenses on topics she really likes. She's also using a report I picked up for her called "Kids' Business Ideas." It's written for teens and parents and is packed full of ideas that really gets your brain thinking. It runs $9.99 and totally worth the buy. You can pick it up at the title of the book dot com.

Another great source is called Teen Biz Course by Gregg Blanchard. It's a complete course that teaches you how to create a business plan, figure out what business you want to be in, how to get customers, design flyers and stuff, how to price your goods, etc. It comes with a complete set of videos. Everything in the course is based on Gregg's experiments in starting different businesses to pay his way through college. It's awesome! : ) You won't find it for sale anywhere on the net, but you might want to write Gregg and ask him for a copy. Since he's not selling it anymore he might give it to you for free! I don't know his email addy, but you can contact him through his twitter account @greggblanchard

Best of luck! And remember - never surrender, never give up!

Age shouldn't matter much. There are people I've heard of who are around your age and doing quite well in IM. But to be successful you have to find a need in the marketplace and then fill it with information or physical products.

The strategies and techniques to be effective are widely available. It may take some time and you'll have to investigate different techniques until you find the ones which work for you. But don't give up. This is one of the best opportunities virutallly anyone who has a computer and a fast internet connection can take advantage of. Good luck!

I suggest you write articles; you seem to have good spelling and grammar skills, and you can easily make money in this industry online.

Online business owners are constantly in need of fresh content, and many do not have the time or skills to write their own content. Typically you can get paid around $8 or $10 for a 400 word article as a beginner and there are plenty of sites out there that will pay you to write. Constant Content, Content Divas and Text Brokers are just a few that come to mind.

I originally started out in affiliate marketing and then realized that I could use my writing skills to build a writing business. I now make far more money than I ever made working at a "job" - and I get to stay home to boot!

I suggest you give it a try, you don't have to be highly skilled - and most website owners want casual, informative articles that the average person can read and understand.

    Good luck to you!

I'm 15 and from your post it seems you don't really know what your going after in IM. I am not an expert or anything but I would figure out how you want to make money. There are endless opportunities to make money online. I've already made a bit of money through mobile and that's one of the things I decided for myself I am going to pursue.

    There is an famous saying...

Whether you believe that you CAN or that you CANNOT, you are correct!
Choose to do something in your life that you truly believe in - something that you would do whether there was immediate success or not - and you will win eventually.

    I hope this helps

Never give up. But no one has tried everything! You are 14 so before you do anything on the internet, talk to your parents if you want to open a business.
But one thing to remember no one started on the internet making money with the first thing he tried.
Everbody pays before he gets paid! Think about it do some research.Do you play world of warcraft? You can make money there.

You have got initiative that's for sure. Look at what skills you are displaying already. You can write, you know how to find people who know stuff - you found this forum, you can purchase a domain name, you can arrange hosting, you can build a website.... and you probably have a ton of other computer or internet related skills that you aren't telling us about just yet.

The skill set you have displayed already is enough to be able to offer your skills and services to others here on the forum. People often just don't have the time to do what you can do. Another suggestion is visit fiverr.com and get yourself registered there (I don't think there is an age restriction) Offer some of your skills and services there.

I bet you are a gun at Facebook and other social media. Know how to setup fan pages? There's another direction you could go in right there.

You are getting a ton of coaching here in this thread already. Keep reading, learning and taking some action. Don't get overwhelmed though. You are young, just starting out and have got your schooling to think of at this time too don't forget. Get something going on the side and you'll do great.

    Hello lilc800,

There is no age limit to those who want to achieve success. Many will surely discourage you but if you keep persevering I'm sure you'll get want you want. In business, you have to get the trust of your clients that's why you should show them that they have to look on your skills or ability instead of focusing on your age.

Never ever give up. You could try making a few bucks on Fiverr. That would give you some much needed encouragement once you see some money flowing in.
And keep going till you make it. No matter how long it takes.
You have time on your side.
    Good luck and best wishes.

Don't give up, nothing you do goes down the drain, because you learn, and even more from mistakes. Even if you don't earn money for the next few years, you will have learnt a lot and eventually by not giving up, you'll achieve online success.

And a lot of successful internet marketer also start by nothing, you can have no money, no resource, but if you have the right attitude, discipline, commitment, hungry in internet marketing, I believe that you can find a way, you can make it make it!

Your lucky to be 14 and so determined in making yourself a better future. My best advice is to keep pushing forward no matter what obstacles you face on the way.

Everyday day continue you to learn & take chances. By the time you know it you will be 21 & light years ahead of your peers because you continued to push forward despite the obstacles in front of you.

Not only will you have acquired tons of knowledge but you'll also have learned skills to dispose at will for $$$$$$$

Keep at it kid, trust me if you do you will be happy you did in the later days.

    Cheers = )

Seriously go check out my website on how to become a freelance writer. There is information on how to get started and freelance writing will be one of the easiest ways for you to make money online. From your OP I can see that you have somewhat good grammar so you should be a pretty good freelance writer.

PS I started online when I was 17 so I know how intimidating it can be at first. Just stick with it and you will do just fine.

    Hi,

Try partnering with someone who is older. Interview them and find out how you can learn from their years of experience.

Next, with their consent, publish what they know online in the form of blog posts, for example.

Their knowledge + your technical skills = good content online.

Later on, you can monetize those websites that you will build.

    Kind regards,
    Manuel Viloria

Most success stories started out with tremendous difficulties you know?
Focus on your strength(s) and work with that...but remember that you also have some studies to attend to...so make a good balance for that and for earning on IM. Good Luck and Im sure you can succeed

That's great you're only 14 years old, one day you may become a guru

OK, so you need money. Here are a couple of things that I recommend you do:

    1. Provide a service. This can be a very profitable thing and you can start profiting from this today. What can you do? If you have some skills, like creating graphics, writing articles you can do very well. Just post your service to warrior forum or to other forums in IM niche.

Or, you can set up a simple site (you can even use blogger.com if you want) and provide a service there. Then just put a link to your site where you provide your services and make a lot of posts in this forum. 50 posts should be enough and you should get a couple of clients.

Another powerful service that you can offer is turning articles into videos. Not many people do this, everyone is writing articles, that's why it's so profitable.

    2. Promote CPA offers. If you're in UK or US, here's what you do: you find a CPA (cost per action offer, where someone completes a simple form, like put their name and email and you get $1-$25) and then go out there. First of all, print some flyers and put your domain that redirects to your offer. I recommend you choose an offer that offers something for free, like an Ipad.

If you go to a school or a college, just tell your friends they can win this. You can also tell them you'll do something for them if you know what I mean.

If you're mum or dad is working as a receptionist or so, tell them to give these flyers to their clients

If you want a step by step training on this, including online methods, check out my WSO, which is in the signature.

Sorry for mistakes, I'm too lazy to proof read it...

    Hey buddy

I'm at time of writing this 27. I work full-time for $50K a year. I have just been through a separation with my wife, and have 3 kids that I don't see as much anymore. I have also been trying to make decent bank so I can leave the work-force and have time freedom, and to further pursue my interests in internet marketing.

It has only been through my recent events (as tragic as they may seem) that I have truly started to have success online. It has also taken me nearly four years to get to know people in this game to actually have any success at all.

The point I am getting at is don't give up. Seek help, learn, grow. I have been at this for over 3 years now and I have no intention of the fact that in that time I have only made about $1000 in that time stop me from wanting to get that a week and retire from working and have more time with my kids and new partner.

I'm going to send you a message mate, I may be able to help you out with your finances to a small degree. Hear from you soon.

Hell no you shouldn't give up!!

I'm 36 and have been researching IM for almost 3 years, and have implemented some strategies that made me a little here and there, but I have yet to make any significant $$.

    But I'm not quitting!!

If I were you I would give it everything I had, to prove to yourself that you can succeed at IM.

Your ambitions are admirable, and being financially independent is a great goal.

So keep plugging away, stick with what works and makes you money, and drop everything else.

And don't be afraid to fail, it's just an inherent component of the learning process.

Taking action and learning from your mistakes is critical!

    Stay strong and stay focused.

    All the best,
    Demian

I think this is pretty cool, seeing a lot of the younger generation discover that there's money to made on the internet. First of all, there are tons of ways to earn money online without spending money, you just have to think outside the box. I would do as some of the others suggested and start a blog aka journal of what you're working on and be truthful about it - hits, misses, what you're finding challenging etc.

You can either choose to write the journal or video it (personally, I'd do a combo of both - set up a youtube channel to get more viewers), set yourself up a twitter account and a facebook fan page and use them to feed traffic to your main blog. Grab tweet deck or something similar and then you can multi post to all of your traffic sources at the same time.

You were stating that you shut your forum down, because you couldn't afford to buy VB, you can start out by using a free forum script such as phpbb, simple machines or wordpress also has a free forum script. And there are literally thousands of templates, hacks etc. available for each of them, not to mention support forums, so if you have any probs you can get help to figure them out.

Some people say go out have fun whatever, man if I had internet at 14 I would've grasped it and went full tilt with it. Keep up the good work and realize one good thing, you're not a slacker!
