I Receive Tons of Traffic, but My Site is Not Converting. Here is My Site.

Hey guys,

I have this site: musclebuildingprogramreviewed.com

I receive tons of traffic, but I have not gotten any sales so far.

The last 14 days I have had over 200 hop links to my affiliate, Vince Delmonte No Nonsese Muscle Building, but I have not gotten any sales so far.

Here are my stats:

I am on an average getting 150 visitors per day to my site.

I have about 15 hops per day to my affiliate site.

I dont know why I am not converting yet.

What are your suggestions, can it be something with my site. Any advice on what I can improve and change?

Or can it be something with the No Nonsense Muscle Building affiliate?

Looking forward to hear from you experts.

The stats of 150 visitors are not enough,You need to gain more number of visitors to really see the conversion because in 150,what if all are freebie seekers, then you get zero conversion.
Increase the visitors by getting your site rank for long tail keywords

This is right.. 150 is not a lot of traffic..

Sorry but you need thousands before you can start split testing and such..

One tip is to use Aweber to create a 'LIGHTBOX' popup optin form.

This will give your opt in rate a HUGE boost.

Set it to pop up at 22 seconds, that is what I find works best, and it lowers your bounce rate.

A .5% conversion rate is not unheard of, you might be on the threshold of a sale, you probably have more useful statistics on the CB control panel.

The top article is a bit long for my attention span, and by the way I suspect the guys working out in prison yards never use the phrase "A wonderful experience"

The makers of the course Full Frontal Niche Marketing, showed the details of finding and testing offers, then building a site and traffic to market it, then ended up with a CB weigh gain product and a working sample site, this particular area might now be a bit saturated with newbie competitors. (They relied chiefly on their premium Ezinearticle account for traffic)

Anyway their site and affiliate link might be worth a look.

it's called variance... all other factors being equal

reality is, just cause 200 people HAVE seen it, doesn't make you any more likely to make a sale on the next 200 than you were on the first 200

but like others said, you need the large numbers... only once you have large numbers can the effect of variance be minimized

One thing I have noticed is that certain topics or subjects are just... weird. I had a site years ago that got over 8500 unique visitors a month but it was like many of them were more into just getting information then they were looking for a product to purchase. It was strange.

It looks like a nice site, what with all these shirtless men taking cam shots of themselves and what not (joking, it looks good), but try and work on traffic. 150/day isn't much and can definitely be improved quite a bit. Your conversion rates won't have any choice but to start making sales when you have a thousand visitors a day. Also, maybe a personal page? A "Contact Us" age with e-mail, etc? I always appreciate that on a page when I can see the company CEO, Founder, web creator, etc. Maybe it's just me.

  • Our Advise is to write more content on the site to drive traffic for long tail keywords. Write Product Reviews and rank them high for those keywords to get more sales

honestly, ur #4 7xx xxx on alexa which means, you're not getting that much traffic.

secondly, you're review page kinda looks too much like a sales page. You're job is to PRE-SELL not SELL. That's the merchants job. You're simply supposed to warm up the customer.

Thirdly, its not that relevant. Try to emphasize on things such as, someone being too skiny and trying to get mass or a fat dude trying to be ripped etc.

more like: "5 month ago, I was a mesely 157lbs! I Had To Do Something!"

Today, I'm at a muscular 207.5lbs. Before I tell you how I did it, I would like to tell you my story bla bla bla.

create different landing pages for each niche.

    Hope it helps

and btw I did really gain 50lbs in a matter of 5 months srs. powerlifting owns.

    Hi,
I do agree with others that having traffic of 150 visitors per day is not enough to generate attractive revenue. You must improve your traffic and quality. Specially your content quality. If you can write meaningful and unique content than it may be favorable for you in this regard. So, you have to increase your traffic by improving your quality contents.

could be that because your site has a ton of info on it that by the time the user clicks the link they want to go to the product. but instead they go to ..... more info....

so they get bored and leave.

I can't identify that you have something to sell or something that I can take away from your website except the content to read. The layout is more like a blog then of a website.

Secondly, make sure that you target the right audiences. You have to make sure that the people who visited your website were your target audience. Choose the right keywords and optimize it to rank in the search engines. This will get you traffic that are actually your customers.

More promotion. You need it. Besides of consistent traffic, you also need large splash of it. Its not just the content, although of course that is important as well. Make more backlinks, backlinks that will not just boost your rankings but can bring traffic as well.

150 traffic is not enough. You should do something to get more traffic.
