Why do most launches start at 3PM est. ?

Hi,

A lot of the Internet Marketing launches start at tuesday 3PM est.
Can anybody tell me why?

I guess the majorty of buyers are US people so why not start 8pm est. when
they are relaxed and have time to look at the offer.
Or is this just a trick so people with less time will buy and find out later what they have bought?

    Just from the top of my head, I'd say since the majority of people probably still check their e-mails from work - and heading back home at either 4 or 5 pm, by launching at 3pm you greatly reduce the amount of time they can act upon your offer, increasing urgency, especially for limited item launch or launch combined with fast mover bonus ...
