Focus Young Jedi...Reach your goals...form partnerships

This is something I struggle with all the time...

I have a bad case of what I call "Chaos Brain"

Your mind has 5,000 things you want to accomplish...You feel like you will never get to the end. However is there really ever an end anyway? Other than the REAL END hehe...

So I suffer greatly from "Chaos Brain" Like I bet many others do...

You feel like you are never ever going to accomplish your goals.

I always wanted to reach all of my marketing goals RIGHT NOW...I would swim in a cluster of thoughts and not take action on any of them because I was overwhelmed...

What are your goals? Have you ever really sat down and wrote them down and looked at them?

Lately I have been doing this...

Writing them down into a visual representation instead of just keeping them in your head can do wonders. I'm not kidding...you will actually add new outlooks on your goals just by looking at them visually.

Just try to set a goal every day and reach it...(I myself still get caught up in chaos brain at times)

Also as far as Internet Marketing goes...Find yourself a business partner. Find someone with skills completely opposite of your own. You will be amazed at what you accomplish.

Jeremy Kelsall and myself teamed up...We both had some sales experience. I owned my own retail computer shop at one time so I had business experience. Jeremy is great at writing content...and has an outstanding marketing mind.

So when you broke us down you had:

Jeremy (Sales/Marketing/Writing)
Don (SEO/Programming/Business/Some marketing and sales)

I can't write to save my life...Jeremy can.
Jeremy can't tell PHP from Ramen Noodles

So we had skills that were completely opposite of one another...(We don't bump heads and argue because of this)

Some people will sit there and go...man I don't want to split things 50/50 with someone...

Why? Are you doing this as a hobby or a business? If your doing it as a hobby I can understand why...If you are doing it as a business you are insane. Your profits will increase exponentially.

I see a lot of people on the Warrior Forum that try and do everything alone...

No man or woman is an island...But you can buy an island with teamwork...

So coming back to the "chaos brain" I have... Having a business partner has alleviated some of that. Jeremy and I both suffer from it at times and it helps to have someone else to keep you focused...

Not to mention when it is time to brainstorm...2 heads are better than one...

So moral of the story...What has worked for me...

1) Make Daily Goals
2) Write Them Down and look at them
3) Stay focused on each task before moving to another
4) Don't jump on "The Next Big Thing"
5) Don't run to the WSO forum daily to see what is new if you haven't taken action on anything yet.
6) Find a business partner

I think then you will find the success that I have been enjoying and many others have been enjoying here.

Ok...I babble a lot...I am done now lol...

great post - I most certainly suffer from "chaos brain".

I'm getting myself a big white board & I'll be putting my ideas on there - then picking the ideas that will transfer to projects. Then i can write up every step I need to take & focus on only that process.

I have a project that I've thought about finding a programmer as a partner - but it's just a thought at the moment, though I'd really like to put it on the white board as my first project.
