What is Your Favourite Niche?

I'm kinda new to the forums, one thing I've noticed is most of the threads I've read are about the 'make money' niche. When I first started in IM I thought that his niche was so overpopulated that I've never bothered trying to compete in this space, apparently I was really wrong and maybe missing out.

Is this still the biggest money maker for everyone? What is your favorite niche that you target?

Personally, I'm always doing more health related stuff:
1. Quit Smoking
2. Weight Loss
3. Acne

I would personally target the IM niche still because there are always more newbies coming into the market and it's more easy for me to make money in. I understand the market well so I can be able to make my own products more easily and carry out affiliate promotions ect.

What's great about the IM niche is, that as an IM'er I am not only a seller but a buyer as well. This gives me a much better understanding of what makes prospects want to buy, because I am a prospect as well.

My interest in IM also makes me pursue knowledge all the time, and not just to make money, but for my own personal pleasure. The knowledge can be turned in to products that help people.

If I were in a niche in which I had less interest, I would have to pursue knowledge just to make money, and it wouldn't be as interesting as fun.

About saturation, I really don't think there is anything to worry about as long as you truly care about providing value to your subscribers and customers.

From recent tests, the gaming niche has proven to be quite profitable. Younger and younger kids are getting access to PayPal accounts and credit cards, might be something you'd want to look at.

I second the gaming niche. I have not gotten into it yet, but have been doing the research. I like seasonal niches and high end niches like electric scooters or pool tables. I don't make many sales, but the commissions are big.

The harder a niche is to break into, the more money there tends to be. Of course there are exceptions when you find big niches that are under-utilized.

Big niches like travel, high-price items, etc. can have big profits for people who put the work into becoming an authority.

Hands down the make money niche is the Big Dog Internet Marketing niche now.

The slow economy, high employment rate and more global competition from more English speaking countries continues to drive it even faster.

More competition makes it both good and bad.

          Let me explain:
Good if you have a product or service that contains the Superior Uniqueness that makes it stand out from the crowd.

Bad if you don't have it or you have a me-too product like hundreds or thousands of others.

My niche is basically affiliate programs. I sell products or services there is a demand for. So, I'm everywhere selling anything. I also teach how to earn income online using these products and services.I'm doing pretty well without going into a sub-niche.

You'll also find that if you go to a model train forum, most of the threads are about the model train niche.

And if you go to a classic movie forum, most of the threads are about the classic movie niche.

What is it we talk about in this forum, again?

That is one of the most overlooked niches on the net. The demographics are middle aged women that are not afraid of spending money.

Ok a bit long winded but a funny story anyway.

I have long been a fan of the making money niche and forex/investing niches.

Then I noticed my wife buys just about everything under the sun online. seriously I get a package or two a week from ups or fedex and they now know me by name.

So I got to thinking surely my wife cant be the only woman on the planet that does this, so I started looking into the health and beauty niche and setup a wordpress blog a few years ago targeting that market and put alot of related cpa and affiliate offers on there, even sell a few of my own books on there too.

That particular blog has become my highest traffic website and the conversions have not been bad either.

Honestly still make more money in the making money online niche but I have had less effort to maintain the search engine rankings on the beauty and health blog and it still makes me a good bit each month.

My wife calls it her vacation blog because we use the money from there to take our yearly vacation to europe.

PS- She still buys alot of stuff online.

I'd say my favorite niche is offline mobile. Mobile is very hot. Most businesses aren't even aware of it so it's still in it's infancy and there is a ton of $$$ to be made.

You might even consider this niche part of the "Making Money" niche since you are literally helping small local businesses make more money. It's a great boost to the economy and they love you for it.

my favourite niche is the one that brings in money.

It is all about the niche.... some are hot and some are not.

Do not worry about all that, do you passion, and follow your passion. Sometimes you passion is in a niche that people are not craving for. And that will just make you spin your wheels.

Pick and choose an evergreen market, and you cannot fail!
