Suggestions from my PLR Shop. What do you want?

Hello,

I have been working hard getting a PLR article shop open. I wrote an 18 page report about ways to use PLR and how to pick a good provider. I plan on offering it as an opt-in gift and have some friends sending it out to their lists with a link back to my site. I would also like to give out a package of articles so people can get an idea of what to expect from my writing.

Well, my original idea was to write the articles about using PLR, but the report covers that just fine. I need to pick topics for the five articles I plan to give out. I thought about doing each one for a different niche... one about diet, one about time management, and so on. Honestly though, what type of free PLR would you guys want to see offered for free? The members of WF, after all, will probably be my main customer base.

Suggestions would be appreciated!

Well I am not going to quite answer your question properly, but I'll just let you know my own experience from the point of view of a seller. I know Warriors really appreciated a longer freebie PLR pack. My first freebie was actually two short packs so that I could show off a few different niches/ styles of writing. At the time I looked around the WF to see which niches Warriors were talking about to get a feel for what would go down well.

Anyway, definitely do a freebie pack as I feel my freebie packs are what draw people to opt in, far more than my freebie report. Good luck

My freebie report was more or less to be distributed as far and wide as I can manage for traffic generation. My freebie pack is meant to be my main bonus. I plan on doing some free or $1 niche packs as WSOs as well. I'm mostly trying to figure out if I should do my opt-in freebie pack as a single niche pack or do articles from several niches.

Well from the POV of a buyer of PLR, you'd want something you could get the most use out of. Personally, I have only a small number of niche sites. So I would prefer a specific pack to a random set of different niches. That said, me having a small number of niche sites also makes it more likely that you'd end up picking the niche I am in, so it's tricky if you want to appeal to the most Warriors.

The other benefit of a full pack is that I can see exactly what comes in your PLR package. How you organize the content etc.

If I was already on your PLR site, looking to buy, then a pack full of different niches would work fine as I would only be downloading it to check the quality before I bought. But if I wasn't already going to buy, I'd be more enticed to join your list if it was something I could get a lot of use out of.

That's why I personally chose a mixture of the two for my own first PLR freebie - a 5 pack on a specific niche, and a 5 pack on various different products. Whether that was the best choice I'm not sure, and now I tend to focus on packs that have a theme in common. But I got my first buyers from that mixed freebie.

Also, the idea of a $1 WSO is interesting and something I haven't tried yet. Just saw some interesting comments about that on this thread: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...offer-0-a.html

EDIT: Saw you already posted in that thread lol!

Thanks for the input, both of you.

Ya, I figure... I will be giving away a freebie pack and I will give out freebies through my list off and on and I may offer some free PLR in the War Room, but when posting a WSO, I want to target those actively purchasing PLR. The WSO pack will be 5-10 articles, I already started working on it, which makes it a steal for $1 and the customers are people that are obviously buying PLR. Not to mention it will help cover the costs of actually posting the WSO.

I suppose I'll have to weigh the pros and cons when picking my freebie pack, though hopefully my other marketing ideas will make up for any buyers that are not interested in my freebie pack.

I took the route of several niches within my freebie pack. This gives the subscriber a chance to see what types of niches you can write in, as well as spark some ideas in what topics to request from you.
