Ebay Affiliate vs. Amazon Affiliate

I am currently doing Amazon affiliate promotion. I was wondering if anyone was doing Ebay affiliate marketing and is it better than Amazon?

    Well, eBay is more of a CPC program whereas Amazon is CPA. I prefer Amazon because I get paid more when people buy and so when I pick solid niches to build websites around where I know I can get solid conversion rates from and in those instances I believe Amazon does better than eBay.

      if you have traffic then ebay is pretty great because you get lots of clicks when someone is really looking/comparing items or looking at the multiple listings of the same item. amazon can work well but you have to have good content and targeted to specific items,etc...i must say that ebay is great for natural seo if you are having items constantly updating(using phpbay plugin for pulling ebay is great for wordpress)

      .....if you use EPN(ebay) i would highly recommend buying the One Lung Thin program OneLung Thin Site Master Course (yes, weird name but invaluable stuff if you are serious with ebay...i think its only like $20 but they provide an invaluable tracking tool that allows you to see every IP/keyword/item looked/etc...very detailed info of everything your visitors are looking at)....they also teach you about implementing IP for int'l traffic....

      amazon is nice too but content needs to be more targeted vs. ebay easy to get more longtail traffic with all the different auctions

        In my personal experience, I had far more success with ebay than Amazon. However it really depends what and how you are promoting it. I am sure there are many people her in the forum killing it with Amazon...
