That Product support email lists have turned into how many other peoples WSO's and products can i promote to you that has nothing to do with the plugin/software that you bought that you said you would keep me up to date on or tips to use it effectively.

Instead all you do is send promo emails.

In such since I seem to not be getting product support or information/upgrades about the plugin/software I shall unsubscribe and never buy another thing from you again.

You are losing customers and money.

It's different if I buy a course from you and you see other things that can help, but software and plugins all I want to get is updates on the software or plugin.

Yea I can trash the emails but what if i trash one and it is actually a update and because every other email is promo I don't pay attention as it is a waste of my time.

Learn to keep 2 separate list one for the product and one for promo's its easy to do and you will save customers and probably make more money as I am likely to buy from you again!

    That's a good thing to point out, and should be a very important point taken for a lot of the software developers and WSO creators out there. Yes, they get your email when you buy their product. Is it wrong for them to have extra offers once in a blue moon? I personally think that is acceptable. However, when the author claims that they will keep you updated with software, and you never see an ounce of updates or additional tips, it just proves that they are not backing their product.

    I am definitely on a couple of lists that had this happen. I have been on more in the past, but I dropped most of them that were ridiculous. The lists that I was subscribed to which became full-time promo lists I was sure to drop the owner an email telling them that I was unsubscribing due to their relentless promotion of other products. I always hope that they payed attention to me for their own sakes.

    Yes I've noticed this as well. I've bought quite a few products in the past which at some point may need updating, and I can honestly say that ever since, all emails from those sellers have been trying to get me to buy some wow wee product, from somebody else.

    I find it irritating, and boring. So that means I scan these emails as quickly as possible, in case of an important update, and there isn't a hope in hell that I'd ever buy whatever it is they're trying to sell.

    Presumably these people consider the sales they make worth the alienation of the likes of me.

    I actually don't mind a occasional promo that may be something that is outstanding or even their new product but usually the send a email every day promoting everything under the sun.. Alot has to do with the new WSO affiliates deal so now everything is great.
