Can I Do "Normal" Non-Review Posts With Dan Grossmans Review Theme/Script?

I'm using Dan Grossmans WPRS theme for some of my review sites.

So far all my posts using his review/script have been reviews, but now I want to add NON-review posts. That means that I don't want all the review stuff to appear on these non-review posts (like the star ratings, the "read X customer reviews" link, etc.)...AND...I want my latest post to be at
the top of the list on my "home page" just like it would with a "normal" blog post -- which is contrary to the weighted system for star ratings using his review theme/script (where the review with the highest rating is always at the top of the page.

Can I do the following with his review/script...

1) Have my latest post appear at the top of my "home page" and still
have my top rated reviews appear at the top of my 'Product Review'
list in the right sidebar?

2) And how can I make my non-review posts appear with NO review
features as mentioned previously like the star ratings, "visit site"
link, etc.?
