Backlinks, Niche Sites, and Making Money online...

Hello Fellow Warriors,
Seems I can not figure a couple things out and this is pretty much my last resort before selling these two sites. I have two sites currently that are not generating any money. The first one is a site I created a long time ago that has set dormant for about three months. This site is not generating me much of anything but Adsense money ($11.14 this month) the site has generated me one reoccurring Clickbank sale that has been generating me about $20 a month. The site I am talking about is Market Online Tonight. I need to find a way to make some money with it as I am not getting any sign ups, Clickbank sales, and only about $20 a month at the most from Adsense. So I am looking for a bit of help as to what direction you all would possibly take this site. This site is getting about 100- 200 views a day and I am not targeting any keywords. I have been thinking about writing a guide on how to set up a website everything from domain names all the way to guest posting and podcasts to sell on the site and just make a squeeze page out of the site as the material I have on this site is when I was just learning things and what I would learn about I would write an article about it. Well now I know a ton more ( Thanks to you all here).



The second site is my first attempt at a niche site. This site is getting between 100 to 200 views a day according to SlimStat in the Wordpress Dashboard. This site hasn't generated me any sales and is currently ranking at the third page for a keyword I wasn't targeting. And the keyword I am targeting it is ranking about page 12 or 13. So what would you be doing to get ranking for the keyword I am targeting on this site I have paid for 250+ banklinks from someone here on the forum and it doesn't seem to have been enough. But I would like to start getting backlinks myself as I don't want to invest anymore money in this site if the chances are slim that it will ever generate any money.

So honestly I am looking for a little help as the direction some of you might take these two sites if they were yours. And I guess I am a little unsure about the whole banklinking process...
1. How do you get backlinks exactly?
2. What is your favorite backlinking method?



Sorry for all the questions, I have just had so many building up that I can't find an exact answer to that I thought I would put them all here. Thanks in advanced I know if it wasn't for you all at the Warrior Forum I would have quit doing this a long time ago. But I haven't and plan on sticking with it until I get a Full-Time income online.     You have a pop up on that site that should be adding 10-20 new leads to your list daily. What do you do with that list? Start ad swapping and sending out offers to that list daily or even twice a day. Promote some WSOs, CB products. Find a few good membership sites to promote too. Create an autoresponder sequence that drip-irrigates your list and explains the benefits of various products you promote.

    That is one of the problems though I don't have anyone opted in to my list on either and I just put those up last night. The opt in pop ups that is.

      So, you're offering free tips on how to make money online the easiet way possible, but you don't know how to make money online yourself? How does that work?

      Why not invest in the product you're pimping on those two sites for ideas? It supposedly teaches everything you want to know. Also, it's kind of hard to sell stuff when your links don't work. Most of your affiliate links are invalid.

        I know how to make money online the basic ways as far as making a blog and creating a community but that isn't what I am trying to do with either of these sites. Market Online Tonight was my first site I ever made over a year ago. The other is something I made from a guide six months ago. And which site has the broken affiliate thinks it shows they are all working. I have pretty link?

    Try to get high PR backlinks slowly and gradually. Staying consistent with link building will eventually get you results.

        Check the WSO section. There were people selling high-PR link packages.

        Again, I'd focus on your squeeze first. What's the point of getting more traffic if you can't convert it?

          Yeah that isn't the point though. What I said was that I would like to get the backlinks myself. I would much rather know how I can do it for free than paying someone.

    Dude, work on your squeeze. The form isn't compelling at all. You don't really need much else. You're getting a decent amount of traffic. Turn that traffic into subscribers.

    See if you can sell some banners. Use Google Analytics and heat maps to understand what people do on your site. See if they find what they came there for. See if you can engage them. Sprinkle affiliate links to various products around your site but don't hard-pitch.

    Set up a sales funnel using a combination of PLR / MRR / your own stuff.

    Your question is too broad. Money online is made using this formula:

    Traffic * Conversion = $.

    You got the traffic part more or less okay. What follow then is, 'tis the time to work on conversion.

      In my experience all the backlinks I have bought (only about 5 packages) havent gotten me anywhere. I would much rather do it myself consistently on a daily basis.
