Give Your Threads an Appropriate Title

Hi all,

This is just a polite request to give your threads an appropriate title so that others know what the thread is about.

I'm talking about those threads with titles like "Can You Help With This", or "Where Can I Find This", etc.

When I am looking for information on a particular subject, one of the first things I do is use the search feature here on Warrior Forum and search for the keyword in thread titles, to see threads where the subject has already been discussed / answered. This allows me to get answers quickly, and I don't have to fill the forum with questions that have already been answered elsewhere.

By giving your thread a title that accurately describes what your thread is about, others will benefit by being able to easily find the thread when looking for information on the same subject.

Also, if you are looking for a solution and give your thread a title that accurately describes what solution you're looking for, you are more likely to get responses and answers from Warriors who are knowledgeable on the subject, than if you were to give the thread a title like "Can You Help With This".

Just a suggestion. Use it / don't use it.

Nick

The problem is a lot of people on this forum are marketers and tend to use the old subject line tricks to try and get more people viewing their threads.

I hear what you're saying, which is OK if you're making a clever thread about something. It makes for a more interesting forum. But I'm talking more about those who are posting questions and requests for help.

Newbies will be newbies, and we'll always have this problem no matter how many times we request them not too. What's likley to happen is this thread dropping down, and new members not seeing it.
