UK ebay assistence needed purleeze...

Hi guys

It's years since I sold anything on ebay though I've always kept my selling manager pro thingy active so I'm a tad rusty.

I've decided to list a few thinks today using seller manager pro etc but to my increasing frustration payment keeps defaulting to $ instead of £ (The whole site for some reason seems to default to .com instead of .uk) I want to sell my stuff in sterling not in dollars (grrr)

I'm starting to froth at the mouth because I'm sure there must be a very simple reason for this, so any advice is gratefully received

Hi Kim - long time!

Are you connecting to ebay.co.uk rather than .com? I'm on there [virtually] every day and have no issues. I do however see dollar prices . . . sometimes

Hi Kevin

I'm logging onto .co.uk but whenever I try to create a template in selling manager pro it defaults to .com and $

Someone answered earlier (but deleted it for some reason) and said that you had to go to the corner of the template and make uk the default, but I can't see where you do that

Hi Kim

First, are you still paying the monthly fee for Selling Manager Pro? If so, the ordinary Selling Manager is nearly as good - and it's free.

Anyway, regarding your problem - if you click on "Account" (in the top left) then on "Site Preferences", you can check whether you've set your listings for the UK or US site.

Hope that sorts it.
