Questions about offering MRR products on a blog

My head is loaded down with questions and I hope someone here can help so I can get some sleep tonight.

I will try and make this as short as possible, so if I leave anything out, please ask. I'm only going to ask one question for right now, but I will have more. I was going to ask in the War Room, which I just joined but I wasn't sure if that was the appropriate place to ask.

I have acquired a MRR product that I would like to offer on one of my blogs. This is the first time I would be doing anything like this and wanted to test the water and see what the outcome is. My question is...how the heck do you link to these on your site? It's a PDF Adobe file. I have a feeling someone is going to say that I have to upload it to my server first. If that is the case.....I am using Hostgator and am on a shared server. Will people downloading something from my site put to much of a strain on a shared server? If you think it's okay....please tell me exactly I upload it to? I'm not to good with messing with the files on Hostgator.

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated on this. If you can point me in the right direction, I'm sure I can figure out more on my own. Thanks!!!

Yes, you have to upload the file on your hosting account. Better compress it first. Use winzip or a similar program to do that.
Winzip has 30 days trial but some others are free. For example 7-zip.

I'm not used to blogs so I can't really help you for things specific to a blog, but otherwise, feel free to ask me if you have any questions.

Do you want to offer your ebook or do you want to sell it?
If it's a product with MRR I suppose there is a sales page. Except if you can manage to put the sales page on your blog, I would just add the photo of the ecover on the blog. The ecover should be « clickable » so people would then be lead to the sales page.
You can also write a post talking about your product.

The easiest way is to upload the sales page to your hosting account and as I said before, link from your blog to this sales page.

Create a subfolder where you will put the ebook and a thank you page. Don't give some obvious names to your folder and files to avoid everybody can get access to your ebook without paying for it.

When you create a PayPal button to sell your ebook, you have to give a return URL for buyers. They are sent to this page when they've finished to pay and press the « return to merchant » link. Give the URL to your thank you page. On this page you just put a message « thank you for your order..., please click below to download your order ». On this page you create a link to the folder where is your ebook.

    That's all.
