I know this is a newbie question, but are you allowed to post links to other websites in this box (not signature)?

    I think yes you can do it, but never affiliate links and, of course, try to post links that are related to the thread.

      It depends - it's not allowed if you are trying to send people to your own site or blog by making a post and including a link.

      Absolutely.

      As long as you follow the advice already given above . Besides from that, I think that new users have to have made 15-20 posts or so, before being able to post links.

        Sometimes people post links to relevant articles on other websites or occasionally a video.

        Sometimes people ask others to review their sites, although when you do that it would probably be better to make the address not be a live link.
