How do you drive your affiliate sales?

I recently bought some ad space on a website. 500,000 impressions for 70 bucks a month. 56 clicks on the ad, no buys. It's 27 dollars... what do I have to do to get people to buy it?

The impressions that we're seen for the ad we're 14,000... so that's 14,000 freaking page views, only 56 clicks, and no buys?

It's an all text ad, should I change it to pictures? What? Help out please.

The problem is you're sending crap traffic... which is VERY hard to convert... with those kind of traffic purchases you're lucky if it's even real.

You should focus on organic search... and if you MUST, buy PPC with a reputable provider like adsense - but paid advertising in general can be tough to monetize if you're not experienced.

Do you mean organic search like, building my own website, putting affiliate link on there and getting the website it's own traffic by SEO? If so, I've tried that. And I've tried adsense before, and soaked 120 dollars into one sale.... I lost 100 dollars lol.

Yeah, that's exactly what I mean - that kind of traffic is highly targeted and once you start getting it, it's pretty easy to maintain without spending a dime. And yeah, like I said, adsense is very hard to make money off of unless you know what you're doing.

Starting your own sites and getting traffic to them can be hard, and lots of people do fail at it - but that's probably your best bet if you can commit to it for an extended period of time.

I've had more success with picture ads more so than text ads. They catch your eye. Now 14,000 page impressions is not 14k unique visitors, which I am sure you are aware of. Let's say you had 500 visitors, who saw 3 pages each (15,000 impressions) before they left your site. 56 ad clicks isn't terrible... and if you are using Adsense you have no idea what the payout for these ads will be.

you are looking for traffic just like everyone does when getting started. The problem is that the more broad your traffic is, the less it converts and the more you are wasting money.

You want to look for RELEVANCY. being relevant is key to success. If someone is looking to build solar panels, you should be promoting how to build solar panels or even better, build solar panel guide.
