how do you feel ehwn you know people are lying in your niche?

Hi,

Let's say someone contacts you about a J.V., in your niche. You know how it goes..."you can make a quick $100k+ just send this to your list..."

BUT on inspection you find what they are really promoting is garbage. When I probe abut certain figures I can see they do not even kno what I am asknig for never mind giving me a good answer.

So I decline their offer but I also feel I should tell them they are selling B*S*. But is that my job or responsibility? Maybe not..but when oyu see other marketers promoting their garbage and making big money from it it does leave a sour taste.

Should I just keep shut and look after my-self? I got caught out last year offeirng a couple of products where I believed the sellers. so now I want to see real proof. Funny how they can never provide that!

I would (and do) ignore anyone who told me I could make a "quick $100k" because I'm not gullible enough to believe that.

So what if others do make money with that product - it could be due to their own marketing skills and contacts (lists) and not due to the product itself.

Telling someone their product is B.S. is rude and unproductive. If you didn't buy it and aren't promoting it - let it go and do your own thing.

I agree, just let it slide and focus on your product.

I'd quit worrying/complaining about how other people choose to run their business, god knows it's enough trying to keep track of my own.

Hmm..ok thanks but I do feel the point has been missed. They are tricking gullible newbies into false earning promises (isn't that all too common on the Net?)...so I know it's a scam but i should simply ignore it? And I really could probably make that six figures if I endorsed the product....BUT I can't. Because it really is B*S*. Should I in fact wanr my lsit about the product? Then i might end up in all kinds of legal disputes. But I hate to see people fleeced.

My point about other marketers making money from it..isn't a thumbs up to their marketing skills at all. It's a point in how they'll push anything that sells!

I guess I can try to educate beyond that I'll save my energy. Thanks

There will always be marketers who will promote anything that sells - you won't change that.

There will always be gullible newbies - but after a while they will stop being gullible. It's a learning process for them.

If you are a well known top guru-person and you point out a scam or a bad product - people will listen. If you aren't, they'll see your opinion as sour grapes. It's not a productive use of time to pass judgment on other people's products - that's the big point.

I bet they must not be selling their best marketing tips..its logical..why will they churn out their own competitors .I have stopped believing those flashy ads though I've burnt my finger when I was a newbie.
