Default How to stop spam e-mail from...um, myself

Some maggot (or several maggots) has been relentlessly spamming me from my own email address. I can't block it with outlook. Every single one of the 20 or so a day (from different originators) leads to this same Canadian pharmacy site.

How do I either

A) track and kill them or

B) make it stop?

Thanks

I've had spammers use my e-mail address as the return address on their spams, so I got the 1,000's of returns. I know what your going through. Well X 100

And of course I got a few angry e-mails from people thought I was doing the spamming, surprisingly, not many though.

Don't think you can do much, unless you know how to track up line and get them shut down.

Thanks Ron!

I didn't even think about someone else getting spammed by my email. Yikes.
My question is: If it is so easy to do and difficult to defeat, why doesn't every spam-marketer do this? Outlook doesn't want to block stuff from me, so it looks like I may have to live with it. But I am spammed a hundred times a day by others who aren't savvy to this trick...

Interestingly, though each link leads to the same destination, every piece of mail originates from a different address.

Well, many do use the tactic, I've know of many people and have heard of many more.

It's difficult to defeat because either you can't find out where it is coming from, or where's it's coming from doesn't care they are doing it, I think usually the later.

Actually have you tried setting up a rule or two in Outlook, like for certain words in the e-mails, have it delete the e-mails automatically? Think you might be able to do that.

Almost every message is different, yet come from a different address and lead to the same site...

It must all originate in the same place with all these masking email addresses. Must be hundreds of them!

I will try the outlook settings again.

Thanks, Ron.

I've just had a massive increase of the same.
Also leading to a drugs company.

I think we're wasting our time with the people sending the spam.
Start clicking on a few links and find out which processor
is collecting money for this spam and start complaining to them.

The payment processors are the main cause of spam.

No money = No spam
