In need of a marketing budget

Hi everyone,

I've been meaning to create an eBook about making money online for the longest time and I will start pursuing this soon. Can anybody tell me what kind of a budget I need to also create a good sales page with an opt-in? How about virtually no budget (selling on Amazon, WarriorForum, and other avenues). I guess I am wondering what the fastest and most efficient way is to make money with an eBook. And please, no wise answers.

Really you don't need to spend anything on marketing it if you don't want to. If you don't already have a sales website and a domain, you'll need to get those.. you probably can make something on your own.

If you do decide to spend anything, I'd experiment with an adwords campaign that leads to several different test landing pages. I don't usually recommend adwords, but if you're pushing your own product I think it's not so bad.

You could also pay someone with a good list to send out a blast for you, if you find the right person that can be way more profitable than adwords.

Maybe consider buying some banner space on related websites as well.

You should make sure you do SEO and link building on your website too

And as always, you could put it up as a WSO here and try to sell some copieis that way.

If you're looking to make money with an eBook with no budget, I'd make an WSO. To create a full blown sales page you're going to have to pay a copywriter at least a few hundreds dollars for something decent.

Then again you could always write it yourself.

  • I'd just create a WSO or sell on clickbank. No sense in creating a marketing budget for an ebook. Maybe if you have had a couple hits already I would suggest some other things. But if you are just getting started, do not put too much money into your marketing.

Do you guys copyright your eBooks? For example, if I sell my eBook to someone and this person decides that its their eBook, without the copyright, what protection do I have?
