hey people..this is regarding google. if i were to rank pretty well in google singapore, does it mean i'd do well for that exact search term on google usa?

cuz my article is on page on for the keyword on google singapore. But im not sure about google USA.

EDIT:

If it doesn't mean i can rank well then how do i overcome this?

being ranked well in singapore is not same as being ranked well in worldwide

it depends on where is ur target market.

if it serves singapore, rank well for singapore will be fine.

If it is a world wide market, rank well for worldwide and you need to compete against the worldwide competitors. =)

go for long tail keywords. there is no need to go head on with the big boys!

    Cheers,

Keep on doing more of what got you a top ranking in Singapore.

There is really nothing directly you can do to influence Google other than keep what you are doing for linking and content generation.
