I Just Bought TerrariaGuide.Com

Terraria is a new (seems VERY popular, but new) game on Steam for like 9 bucks. But it's really confusing to play and I could not find a guide for it.

BUT I CAN'T FIND A PRODUCT/GUIDE YET..

Also, STEAM does not seem to offer an affiliate program yet.

So now I'm not sure what to do with the domain. Any ideas? Oh, and the huge caveat is that I can't use ad-sense. I think my account was suspended even though I've no idea why - I never used it much.

I can either sit on it and wait for something, or sell it. Unless someone has some other ideas??

    Be the first to market a guide, hire people in forums who seem to have mastered it to write the content, you could test the waters with the "Primer" volume of a future series.

    Don't know if you saw, a few of the big name clickbank guides were shut down when they were sued by the game companies for copyright violation.

      Interesting.. thanks for the info. Specially the copyright thing. I'd like to promote their official stuff but they don't have any.. lol

    The best idea I can give you is check with a lawyer or follow up yourself
    before doing anything else with "Terraria".
    There's three registrations already for that name.

      I'm not using it to make money yet, so I should be fine. As of now I just put up a script which rotates out Youtube videos of the game. This script seems to help keep Google bot at the sites that use Tubepress.

      I may just see if I can flip it.

    Make a little niche site about setting up your own terrarium.

    Stick it in a folder on your hard drive.

    Now if Valve comes calling, you've got an alternative to your game guide site.

    I have seen 2 website that display video the same way you did today
    and i am curious to find out

      TubePress. Beautiful video galleries on your site.

      I also used it on my more personal site - Liberty Vids! (alternativenewsmedia.com) and it's amazing how it keeps the li'l bots there. I can hit on a popular news story with that quickly - If I wanted to. I don't find that traffic very useful though lol

    This may seem obvious but YOU should be creating the guide and create videos to go with the guide as an upsell. Then attract affiliates to help you sell it.

    Also, get people on your list then start creating other guides for other games created by STEAM. This is your in...
