Newbie here...so stay kool...
Is it good idea to setup Amazon Store?
Is their someway I can earn money if someone buys anything from my amazon store. I have heard that amazon pays 4% commissions of sold products.
If this idea is good then what r the tips to increase sales.
Here is my 1 month old store without a single sale...

You might do better if you set up your own blog or website and either link to your Amazon store or embed it (one of the options you have when you set up your store) on your site. It's easier to optimize your own website and get traffic there than to get traffic to an Amazon store by itself.

  Yea, I'd rather set up my own site, then an actual store. I use the review theme model and there is definitely a lot of potential with this. It's all about getting targeted traffic to see your site. If you can do this, you are made.

Well Thnx Larry but to be honest I dont have the finance to buy domain and hosting. I was looking this free stuffs like blogger, woordpress.com, facebook pages, squidoo, ebay sellers acct. amazon store to earn money instead of buying a full fledged domain and hosting.

I think its better to do what LarryC said. Getting your own domain is much better than using one of those free press sites. I would use those sites to create free backlinks for my domain. I run amazon stores and wordpress blogs also. Sometimes I will install wordpress as main domain and the amazon script in a sub-folder. Then link them together. Its still also important to add good content to your store and not just create 1000's of items and expect to make money the next day.

  I would suggest going with a handful of products that are related in some way. That way you could build up a sales line in one area. From there, you can find what works and continue to build. Good luck

  Hi, I think that an Amazon store is a good start for somebody who is trying to get started, but understand there are far better ways to make money than with Amazon. So after you get rolling and making some cash you might look into the websites as discussed by others. But for now get on Ezine article sites, talk about specific items you are trying to sell, say in a form of a review, and than link them to your online store that way you can start traffic going to your site.

  I would say that its better to find a hot keyword and promote a product based on that and there as so many ways to get traffic to your site

if you can't afford a domain, how can you afford $39.99 per month fee to set up amazon store as a professional seller, unless you only want to sell less then 40 items a month? either way doesn't sound like great money making ideas to me...
