I just purchased a gig on fiver where the person would manually put my website on 20 popular social websites. when they asked for details on my order one of them was a description. I thought they were asking for a description for their own reasons, but now i see that it was a description they were going to be leaving on these 20 sites. well in my description i blatantly said it was an affiliate site (again i thought it was for their own information). Did i just shoot myself in the foot?

Well, technically they'll have to find websites that allow them, I guess, but it was a bad choice, yes.

Those always have a "time to complete" attached to them. There is no way that if you "just purchased" that he got started... Send him a message like the others suggested. You're good. Don't worry.

thank you all. the gig took 4 days to complete and it just completed and with the receipt is where it clicked for me that he probably put all that in the description, but i've already emailed him in hopes that he can change it. if nothing else hopefully he can delete it. thank you again
