What is the best autoresponder that can be uploaded to a server?

Hey there. What is the best autoresponder that you can upload to your server? I don't want to use aweber & getresponse. Also, price is a concern. Thanks for your input.

phplist.com and infinite responder are both free...

there is also a script/set called ARP3 that I believe runs 200ish a license for 10 sites (last time I checked)

pre-PS: I have a customized version of infinite responder that I'll be launching sometime next week that allows easy upload of leads, scrub lists, etc...

If you want a cheap solution then I'd advice you go with Multi Media Autoresponder... It's lowest recommended price is some $67 but I've seen guys sell it for $7. And if you keep a close look at the jv giveaways (the big ones) then I've seen it being given away for free...

If you can afford $47 then I think Frank Bauer's autoresponder would be a good choice. Haven't tried it personally though.

I use the Multi Media AutoResponder on a few sites i have. I did get it free at a JV Giveaway event, with PLR rights but I notice that it had some minor "Bugs" that needed to be worked out. (was missing a couple / in areas...easy fix to do). I went in and fixed the bugs, also I re-coded the form so I can add / edit more fields to the form. It's been working real good now...not a bad little autoresponder for free...

I've seen two versions floating around the JV Giveaways, the Multi Media AutoResponder & the MM Responder...same product just packaged differently....same "bugs' in both in the downloaded version.

I wouldn't recommend it as your only autoresponder, but it makes for a great back-up or good for use on limited sites.

I've heard very good things about this:

Email Marketing | Email Marketing Software | Interspire Email Marketer

$495 to buy for 1 user.

I'm using this and it is TOTALLY worth the price. Amazing features and functionality far beyond aweber. Really great software! I'd go on and on about all the things I love about it, but then this would be a really long post
