I was wondering if anyone here knows if there is a way to buy an offline mailing list that targets a specific zip code or neighborhood? The reason I ask is that my girlfriend is a personal trainer, and we're exploring new ways to advertise her services. We've had several hundred flyers printed and placed them at many local businesses, which has gotten her some good business. But we want to know how to get her ad distributed directly to hundreds of houses quickly. There are some very affluent neighborhoods near where we live we'd like to target. Does anyone here have experience with this type of thing? Thanks warriors. |

| There is still nothing for sale here but a person with some imagination and a sense of humor might have a bit of fun at http://www.facebook.com/pages/DucTales/195406083832415 | |

I've used Melissa Data in the past - very good and reasonable prices - you can go to Mailing Lists | Business & Consumer Mailing Lists | Address Finder | Buy Mailing Lists Also - Goleads is recommended by fellow warrior David Preston - haven't used it yet but imagine they do zip code as well. You may want to look in your local Yellow Pages as well. Sometimes there are local list brokers who have the info you are seeking readily available and since they live near/in the area you are targeting, might be more helpful, or may be able to offer additional insight/suggestions that give you more bang for your buck or show you an easier way to go about getting what you need.

Concur with Leron. Just open up your phone book and find a local broker. They'll probably have an inexpensive "house list" and will be able to sort for the general groups you want to mail to. Still, you can blow a lot of money with direct mail if you don't do it smartly - so be smart. |

Thank you all for the great suggestions. We'll definately be checking the yellow pages (I don't even own a phone book anymore!) as well as looking into some of the other services mentioned.
