If it looks similar to paypal and you have a VERY similar name, I would think it best to change it!!

PayPal is not someone that you want to deal with or get on their bad side, especially their legal team.

If you even have to ask this question, its best advised to change your logo.

1. The name is similar to PayPal

I just had a look and I agree with the other warriors that yes you definatly should change the logo.

When you said "they said it is like paypal" who were they?

If you were meaning paypal have told you then I am also a bit surprised they have not come out all guns blazing saying the domain is to similar also.

Sure it might be a pain to change your logo but just like a house a fresh update can do wonders

In my opinion you should change the logo due to the reasons that some warriors had given earlier:
1) The logo is not professionally created
2) It's similar to PayPal

hey, just checked out your landing page and there is a lot of broken english in the copy. You might want to get a native English speaker to edit it for you. I think it might help improve your conversion rate if you do.

Well, no doubt it looks similar to that of PayPal's logo but on the other hand it looks faded in the footer. so, i would suggest that you should change your logo plus need to work on the site design too to make it looks good.

There is no question - the logo needs changed and as soon as you can. I don't know why you used one that is so similar to Paypal in the first place when you also have a similar name!

Sorry but I'd even change the name. Pay Poy is a dog of a name to pronounce. Pay Boy sounds so much easier but "poy" yuck.

Well done on taking action we all make mistakes but perhaps try and think of a new name and one that isn't so close to PayPal.

Since your name is so similar to PayPal (only 2 letters different), and your colors are so similar, I think they would have a case for a complaint under brand identity confusion.

The logo in your footer was resized poorly, is jagged, pixelated and looks like you designed it on a white background but did not know how to cleanly remove the background so it left a rough white outline around 80% of the text.

You don't want to copy their logo but you want it similar?

The problem is that, with trademarks, confusingly similar is an issue. So, you do not want your logo confusingly similar to PayPal's logo. You want it completely different, especially with the name being so similar.

But, as others have suggested, I would change the logo and the name. Both are asking for trouble.

I think you should change it all. That site is less than a month old and it is clearly a poor copy of paypal in name and logo.

  Not long after PayPal first emerged on the scene, scammers and phishers tried to rip off people by sending out genuine-looking emails in which the links were to paypai.com instead of paypal. Or using paypal as a subdomain.

Good Idea Bro. That would of got you in a lot of trouble with paypal. They own ecommerce in every since of the word. It would not be a good idea to go in legal battle with them and Im no lawyer.
