$550 Month - Easy Does It

Hi Warriros,

I've just had my best month yet where I've earned $550.

I just wanted to post this because I am happy about my result, and wanted to encourage others who are just starting out.

I also wanted to point out, that I started the site that is making me money almost 3 years ago, and for the first few months I made really little.

But, the site was about subject that I truly cared about, and I was getting satisfaction from running it even without making any money. I think this is a big secret to success. If money was all I was after, I would have quit a long time ago.

Also by choosing a subject that I was passionate about I made sure that I also knew more about the subject than most of people, and as a result I was able to provide quality to my readers. This I also believe is a huge key.

I've made some mistakes, I've done some forum profile links and blog comments with poor quality when I first started out, and I regret it. I now realize that I shouldn't be doing anything to promote my site that I cannot proudly tell about to my friends or readers. Honesty really does pay off in the long run.

Most of my links came from honest sources though. And this really does help. I also get about 30% of my traffic from direct linking so I am think people are sharing my site because it is helpful.

So I just wanted to say to all people who are starting out, don't expect to get rich quick with IM. But do expect for your hard work to pay off. Choose something that you are passionate about and strive to help people. The rest will follow, sometimes faster and sometimes slower. But it will follow. $550 may not be a lot of money, but it sure does make a big difference when combined with my regular paycheck.

I think the secret is in taking everything you learned here and using it to promote something good.
