I had your back but just have a few seconds to help you out. I have and use many editing suites but for your situation I recommend Moyea FLV Editor Pro. From their website:

"Moyea FLV Editor Pro is specially designed for you to arrange, edit and convert FLV to other general video format like AVI, MP4, MOV, MPEG, etc, as well as image sequence. Apart from this, you can add watermark, trim and crop the video as well as the batch processing. With it, you can get customized video or image from your flash video and enjoy them any where at any time.

This newly released FLV editor owns its highlights like sequence, resource manager, edit station and project files' saving, which will let you have an incredible FLV enjoyment. Edit and make video movie from FLV files will becomes easier and amazing."

I use it all the time with my HD Flip. It rocks and the price is only $49. Anyway, here's a link.

      Moyea FLV Editor Pro

Make sure you get the Editor not kust the converter. Hope this helps.

I get along just fine with Camtasia, and I like it's versatility for other applications, although a friend of mine swears by Sony Vegas Sony Creative Software - Vegas Pro, Vegas Movie Studio, and Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Edition

I third Sony Vegas. Type in Sony Vegas Tutorial on youtube and you will dig up some great stuff as well...

Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum provides the best value and features for the price.

Premiere elements was the worst I have ever used. Would not wish it on my worst enemy.

Just a quick tip if you are planning on using Sony Vegas which I have, use and love. Because of the HD Flip's MP4 output you will have to use something like QuickTime Pro ($30) to import the file into Vegas without a substantial lose of quality. That is one reason I prefer the Moyea FLV Editor when I edit video's that start life in the MP4 Format (H.264 codec). Hope this helps.

      Hi Josh,

Does the Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Pro Pack include the ability to work with comma and/or green/blue screens?

I couldn't find it in their specs?

      Thanks,
      Michael

      Hi Michael and Jim
Sony Vegas Platinum Studio Pro does support alpha channel. Just make sure you render the file as AVI after you're finished keying the green or blue screen. That is the only file mat it supports for alpha channel transparency. Then convert the file to the format you prefer to use.

Jim To import PowerPoint Slides into Sony Vegas just save them as jpeg. In PowerPoint go to File - Save As- choose jpeg in the drop box and save the files. In Vegas go to File -Import Media- browse to the file and import than just drag them to the editing time-line where you want them placed from the media bin. Hope this Helps.
