Help! My websites are down and I don't know why.

One of my websites is just a blank white page, and the other one says..

"Error establishing a database connection"

I researched it a little bit and a reliable source said it was due to an error in the wp_config.php, and it's because the MySQL datebase name is incorrect.

Well I tried to find out my MySQL details in cpanel and I get..

"The MySQL® server is currently offline."


Can anybody tell me how to fix this?

    It sounds more like the mySQL server is down; contact your webhost and ask them if mySQL is running.
